Good place to stay for a short time and if you don't mind the smell of smoke. The hostel is non-smoker, but people smoke on the balcony and at the balcony door with open doors, so the smell enters the rooms. Cleanliness is not first priority, quite a lot of dust where the eye doesn't reach, but where you want to hang things (towel, clothes, etc.). Conclusion: good place for a short time, but not too comfortable for longer.

Such an amazing place with kind and thoughtful hosts. They can tell you all the best spots in Athens and make you feel so at home. The bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen are all extremely clean. It’s also in the perfect location if you want to see the acropolis and walk through old town.

Rooms are clean. Breakfasts are very cheap and tasty. The hosts are true MVPs. They are very kind, talkative and friendly. During our stay my girlfriend got health problems and they did everything they could to help us. I sincerely recommend this place.

TRUST ME-DO NOT BOOK HERE. Very, very, very shady and unprofessional. Do not waste your time, money, or sanity. We made a reservation WELL in advance. I emailed the night before to confirm. We arrive at the property and they have mysteriously endured a “flood”. Through a series or ridiculous events, the manager later confessed to straight canceling our reservation. I will be following up with Hostel World, etc, but DO NOT STAY HERE. Trust me. Also the pictures on their website are insanely misleading. This place is located in a sketchy part of town and the exterior of the building is an absolute dump. There are so many beautiful and fun hostels in Athens, skip this one.

I had booked 3 days and I have arrived there but nobody was to open the door so I had to call them to show up. SECONDLY I had booked for 4 beds room they gave me 6 beds room. The room was smelly and not clean at all. Very small bathroom and people there made a lot of noise even after 2am. Not worth it all.

The good : cheap, close to center, lots of eating places around.kind of clean. The bad : no kind of measures against Covid. Lots of noise even after 11 o'clock night. Very small bathroom. I paid 2 days for breakfast, but didn't get it. First day when this happened I wait until 8.30, although one day before we agreed on 8.00, when I seen nobody prepare any kind of breakfast I left and eat into town. Good thing after all because the food wasn't that great. OK, second day breakfast I left to airport, very early, so at 3 am couldn't make the breakfast. But one day before when he asked we could find a solution. Anyway, it is what it is.

There are many other choices of hostels in Athens, and I recommend you avoid this one. Pros: cheap, good location, grocery store, kitchen, lockers, secure front door Cons: 1. It’s dirty. I was awake in my bed in the morning and I watched one of the staff leave the fitted sheet on that a previous guest just stayed in and just dust away some of the hair and debris without changing the sheet. Not clean or covid safe at all. The comforters are not washed between guests and they smell. The bathrooms always have body hair. 2. Inappropriate touching from the owner to guests. He tried to hold my hand several times longer than a normal handshake. I talked to another female guest and she said the same thing. I get weird vibes from the whole place as well. Female travelers, I recommend to avoid unless you like this kind of attention 3. Lol there’s two small bowls in the hostel kitchen. One day I found a big bowl and as I was eating out of it, the owner told me he needed it back because it belonged to the apartment upstairs. He paused as though he could take it right that second. I told him I would be done with it in 5 minutes. Awkward pause again and he said okay. I recommend providing more bowls so we don’t have to share between floors. Also, I ate out of a mixing bowl the 4 days I was there because the small blue ones are like for kids size. 4. Rooms are very cramped and small. I was in a 6 person female dorm and there was a refill any space to move. I don’t recommend if you are claustrophobic. I’m not, and this was still cramped for me
