Hotel Castro - Chora

We didn't like the hotel; it strongly depends on the room. Ours was dark and not nice.

everything about this hotel, this town, and this island are magical! it was one of my favorite experiences during a 3 week holiday through the greek islands.

We had a room with a balcony facing the sea. The view was amazing.Clean and comfortable room. Very friendly hostage let us check in early and gave information about the island, bus schedule, taxi number.

Best hotel in folegandros! Amazing last floor room with really big terrace that is looking directly to the sea. Will repeat when coming back to that lovely and quiet island. Perfect for lovers

This is a beautiful hotel located in the nicest and most authentical greek place in Folegandros. They are a very nice couple running the hotel, really helpful and very kind, making feel us like we were at home. We made a mistake with the days we booked and they didn't make us pay for this mistake, we were very grateful for that. Do not hesitate to visit this hotel, we would come here again without a second thought!

The tiniest room ever! Small hotel with nice terrasse but with no comfort. The room with a big terrace is not bigger than a jail cell. So a bit a expensive for the experience. Just to know before booking.

Very bad experience. The lady at the reception which is the owner was very impolite. We booked a room listed in their site as ‘’matrimoniale’’ which in italian means one bed for two that can be composed either of one unique bed or out of two. We get at the hotel and the room was instead composed of two completely separate beds that cannot be reunited. The lady, Instead of acknowledging the mistake with us due to a wrong translation of their site, from English to Italian (even though they corrected immediately the site the next day so it was clearly an error on their site) she treated us very bad, raising her voice at us and being VERY nervous and angry all time. I have never experience such a awful treatment as a customer. Wouldn’t recommend anyone this hotel as her behavior was very unpleasant and rude. She Never apologized for yelling at us or being impolite. We felt all the time as unwanted and unwelcome and she treated with arrogance instead of politely resolving the issue for an error of translation from their side. Folegandros is a magical city but this hotel is to be avoid as her behavior ruined our vacation on the island. A totally unacceptable way to treat people/customers for an issue that could have been easily resolved by talking nicely.
