Terrace with privacy and unique view. The owners pampered us every day offering fresh figs and cake homemade. George, the owner has shown us perfectly how to enjoy both the apartment and the beauties of this little paradise in Crete ....

M	Melvyn Ede on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very comfortable rooms, including coffee making facilities, unusual in Crete. Wonderful views from the rooms. Easy walk to the beach restaurants. Just beware of the mosquitoes, but the do supply plug ins and coils to repel them. Well worth a visit.

Every morning you can watch the sunrise and walk to the beach nearby. Every room has a balcony and equipped with everything you need to prepare your meal, sandwich maker! :D The host was super friendly and offer organic olive oil from his vast beautiful garden. Enjoy berries and apricots from the garden as well. There is also drinking water from the spring. We feld in heaven and had a great time.

The view from our huge balcony, over the Minoen palace to the distant sea, was just breathtaking ! George and Haroula are delightful hosts. Providing us with plenty of little presents from their magnificent vegetable garden. Thanks to them we spent ten marvelous days at Kato Zakros ! We'll come again.
K	Kjetil Mydland on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have found your way all through to the east coast of Crete to Kato Zakros, this is the place to stay. The hotel, or more correctly studios, are run by George, a very nice and friendly man. It seems that he has thought of everything regarding this place, one example is the Mulberry trees that servs as shade for the cars. Speaking of Mulberries, if you arrive in mid June you as are free to pick Mulberries from the trees. He also produce his own wine, apricot and figs. In the evening you can sit on the terrace and see the stars and maybe the milky way. The place itself are just a short walk from the beach and taverna. Of things to do I strongly recommend the "Dead gorge", but also drive to Xerocampos (25 min) for som really beautiful beaches.
