★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic little bay over the beautiful sea of Crete. a perfect and romantic place to enjoy typical meals just 10 meters from the sea. Reasonable price, awesome location, a must see!

We decided to park at point "A" a little way outside the village and save ourselves the walk to the start of the gorge. A good move!
The gorge walk is pretty well posted and well worth doing and pretty easy taxing (unlike the frankly terrifying trek through the Messonas gorge above Kavousi!). The scenery is spectacular and it's about 1h 30 mins down to the beach where there are a number of nice little tavernas. You can walk back up along the road but as it was blowing a gale and we chose to walk back up through the gorge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only thing I can say is wonderful. Wonderful hosts, large and spacious rooms and every day rooms shine with all the recommendations for snowmobiling. Large parking free water market in the yard beautiful view of the host is all about, Bravo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brilliant trek starting at Entrance B and walking down the Gorge to Kato Zakros. Fairly difficult descent from entrance b to the Gorge, need good walking footwear. Started out by parking at Kato Zakros and getting a taxi to entrance B.
