Nice small hotel run by very friendly family. Perfect if you like a quiet environment but still want to be on walking distance from all the fun on beach and laganas.

Very good place for parents and children. Far away from noisy night clubs. Good food, clean rooms. Family atmosphere and nice swimmingpool. All best for the Owners!!

Very warm, welcoming and helpful. Genuinely good people that do what they can including helping with booking of rental cars, ideas, tips and suggestions of how to make the most out of Zakinthos. Location is great; close enough to Laganas beach/ Cameo island for a 10/15 min walk but far enough away that it is peaceful and quiet with no disturbance from the "main drag". Highly recommended for those seeking to explore the island as the hotel has a free car park (and to explore zakinthos you will need a vehicle). Great price, great people and a nice breakfast included to top it off!

It's a lovely place and the hotel owners are very friendly and helpfull. I recommend this place for everyone. Pros: delicious meals - better than most restaurants, clean and nice rooms, quiet location, very good WiFi speed and coverage. Cons (small ones): small rocks on a pool bottom (may scratch your skin), very small shower.

This is the best hotel ive been too with it's humble offerings. It may not be a 5 star hotel but it offers a clean, safe atmosphere with all the facilities that you may need. The staff a very friendly and helpful and will do anything to make you stay pleasent. The food was great and the view from my room was breathtaking overlooking the sea. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family and will be returning here soon.

This is an excellent place to stay. I chose this hotel based on the reviews already published on “Trip Advisor” and it is easily as good as the other reviews suggest. I stayed here with my wife and granddaughter and enjoyed our stay very much, if we ever go to Laganas again I would definitely stay here! Our room was clean, bright, well decorated, well equipped (for Greece Self Catering). The views from the balcony were stunning. The Hotel is just far enough from Laganas centre (less than 10 minute walk) and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The pool area was lovely and not too busy. The Hotel proprietors were very helpful, nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The breakfasts included in the Hotel price were excellent and the food which was available through the day and evening was excellent and very reasonably priced. The choice was limited but there was a sign saying “if it’s not on the menu – ask & they will try their best”. If you are looking for a Hotel away from the rowdy Laganas centre but close enough to see it when you want to, close to the beach and where you will receive a warm welcome from the hostesses, then this is the place for you. Would I recommend this hotel? - YES Would I stay at this hotel again? - YES

I've just got back from a week long vacation at the Megara hotel. I really liked this place. It is located in a quiet and peaceful place, yet close to all attractions of Laganas. The beach is small and not very attractive, but at a distance of 2 km there is Kalamaki with a beautiful, wide, sandy and quite empty beach or about 1 km from the hotel there is a small, charming, private beach of Cameo island. The hotel's staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is homely. Aparts are large, clean and equipped with basic kitchen utensils. Towels are changed and cleaning is done daily. The only problem was with a small and leaky shower. No need for air conditioning in September. Breakfast are tasty and fresh, plenty of choice for a 2 star hotel. For lunch or dinner you can order tasty home-made dishes p.e. a greek salad or a greek pizza for 5 EUR each. Just to summarize - you pay for 2 stars, you get 3 stars or more :)

Not recommended. I asked for an extra towel, which I would have gladly paid for, but it turned out that I would not get one. I was informed of this by a printout taped to the room door. I was with a small child and had to buy a towel in town. We did not put the towels on the floor and I don't know why we received such a reprimand.
