Location fantastic view. Clean and very good.

The views are stunning and our room was quiet despite its proximity to the town- but that’s it for pros. There are major downfalls which cannot be ignored given the price of the rooms, our initial booking was cancelled because the hotel had overbooked so we were downgraded, the rooms on the first floor are close together so in the evening when youre sat on your balcony so are the other guests only a couple of meters away, this also meant we often had a room full of smoke from one of our neighbours smoking outside- not pleasant if you’re non smokers. The bathroom needs major modernisation, the shower is small and fittings look like they need to be cleaned/replaced, the shower itself is not great, the water pressure is good but if you’re washing long hair you will floor the place as the shower (not even a cubicle- a square surrounded by a shower curtain) doesn’t hold the water, there’s no ventilation so the room was damp the whole time. On the second day housekeeping took away our bath mat (which was stained) but didn’t replace it, we didn’t get any fresh towels (towels we were provided were stained) and our beds were not made. On the morning we checked out we had no hot water so couldn’t shower. Reception is usually closed with a number pinned to the door to call if you need anything which I did- twice- to be told to ‘go downstairs and get one of the girls’. We only stayed two nights so only had two endure two lacklustre breakfasts- if you’re vegan or lactose intolerant you will struggle... the only fruit on offer is watermelon and some grapes on both days- I would expect a more extensive selection and at least some olive oil as an alternative to butter, when I asked for olive oil they told me they didn’t have any which seems strange in Greece. The coffee is simple Nescafé instant with no tea (fruit or English) available. For the money payed its frustrating to have to eat breakfast elsewhere. The whole place seems stuck in the past and not in a good way, we wore our shoes inside as the floors didn’t feel clean and customer service is non existent. All in all the place needs a lot of updating and attention, it could be a really beautiful resort if it cared for the needs of its guests better.

Great location and a wonderful view from the balcony but nothing else worth on it. Everything are really old. Bed, fridge, windows chairs.. all very old and uncomfortable. The reception was always closed and you have to make a call whenever you need anything. The worst thing was the towels and the sheets were always dirty, we had new towels every day but still dirty. I would expect better services and more comfortable bed for the price that we paid.

Bad experience. Upon arrival, despite having a reservation for 4, the owner claims to have received a reservation for 3 people, and without further payment he does not allow us to access the room In the end, after a long discussion I have to pay an extra 40 euros not due for an extra bed

My friend and I stayed here for one night, but wish we could have stayed longer! Demitrios was such a lovely host! The view speaks for itself -- it is absolutely stunning. Easy access to the port and restaurants. In the morning, a private breakfast was put out for us, and we were so thankful after such a longer journey to get to Skiathos.
