β β β β β Avoid the resturant/ bar in this Hotel on the corner of the crossroads .The prices are a complete robbery and extortianate! I ordered a LARGE beer and the lady serving produce a SMALL 330ml Amstell which I was charged THREE euros for ! I kid you not .I thought the mobile beach cafe at Komos was robbing me for a small amstell at TWO euros a go but this just about takes the cake! If you go straight cross the cross road diagonally there is a coffee bar which does a LARGE draft mythos for 4 euros.Called the Coffee shop but serves beer [email protected] best bet in the area actually is KING`S in Pitsadia on the main road ( at the cross roads ) who do a large draught Mamos for 3 euros and good food!

β β β β β --------The first room we got was so loud... it felt like living above a ship's turbine... Don't take the rooms on the other side with the supermarket beneath it you won't sleep!!!!
I had to sleep in the car!
- The shower was beneath contempt....
+ Receptionist gave us a new room
+ New room had a noble bathroom
The breakfast was ok... but nothing special

β β β β β This is my favorite hotel at Matala. Perfect staff! The hotel is rated as 2*, but I would give solid 3*. There is nice pool, clean newly renovated rooms with 2 beds, tv, a/c , fridge and super strong watee pressure at shower. Wifi is free and in every area. You can go to the beach in swimming suit as its just 3 min across the road and parking. Breakfast is ok, but no hot dishes. Its same menu every day, but everything fresh. They have reastrant and shop as well. I like the homy atmosphie and top location. If you are ok with basics during holiday - Zafiria is best value for money at Matala!!!

β β β β β Very beautiful and relaxing hotel. The receptionists are welcoming and will do everything to help you. All the personnel is very kind and welcoming. The pool is stunning, with breathtaking view on the mountains near Matala and a nice bar open in the afternoon. A very relaxing and enjoyable experience during my honeymoon.
