★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been coming to Orama for 16 years. The owner Stelios always makes sure our stay is perfect. We also enjoy the people who come here with a last minute bargain for sometimes only 200 EU per person including the flight and then they start to complain about room size or breakfast. Come on people, what do you expect? Price quality is perfect! And a friendly welcome is guaranteed for everybody who respects that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the friendliest welcome in all of Crete. Everything to recommend here. Comfortable, clean, great value for money, lovely pool, nice breakfast, a few minutes walk from town. I will certainly return here and highly recommend it. In fact it made my holiday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hospitality?! Not at all! Went in there accidentally, said "Hello" and asked where I could find the reception. The man told, I first have to tell him what I want and then he maybe answers my question. I told him I have a reservation for the "Paradise" hotel. His reply: This is not "Paradise" and went away. A guest told me that the hotel I was looking for is next door. I mentioned the "friendliness" of guy. When I left he was yelling something in Greek. The guy even followed me with his car, bothering me. Wouldn't stay there, even when it was free of charge. Went on vacation, to get away from stupid people...here I found the biggest one!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice location - simple, but totally fine, refreshing pool, short distance to matala centre, and two very nice hosts. The pool bar closes quite early (mostly between 7:30/8:30, for us, that was really perfect - if you want to have party, you simply go to matala. If you like to rest, you go back to the hotel. Recommended.

we had such an amazing stay there. Stelios and his family are the best hosts i have ever experienced. The rooms are simple, the garden and the swimming pool are really nice! What really counted for me was the hospitality and friendlinnes we were surrounded with. Stelios, thank you so much and see you again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The people in this Hotel are amazing. I'm not only talking about the host, but also the other guests.
It is very easy to make new friends sitting together in the common areas in the evenings. In the same time, if you wish to have your private time, nobody bothers either. We came as guests and felt we left as friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply great. The owner is exceptionally welcoming. You can park inside. The pool is lovely, clean, and I would stay there for hours. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is good. You can walk to Matala beach easily. I am sure we will go back!
