Βρίσκεται στον οικισμό του Μοναστηρίου που μαζί με τον οικισμό του Κάστρου αποτελούν τον οικισμό Αχίλλειο. Από το ναό η θέα τόσο προς το Κάστρο Αχιλλείου όσο και προς το Πόρτο Κάγιο και το κόλπο είναι πραγματικά φανταστική.
The church of the Assumption of the Virgin (also known as the Virgin Mary) is a beautiful church built in the late 1800s. It is located in the settlement of Monastiri which together with the settlement of Kastro constitute the settlement of Achillion. From the temple the view both to the Castle of Achilles and to Porto Cayo and the bay is really fantastic.
