★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Παλιά και όμορφη εκκλησία στο Θεολόγο της Θάσου. Αφιερωμένει στον Άγιος Δημήτριο. Πετρόχτιστη εξωτερικά με ασβεστομένο περίβολο, διακοσμημένο με πολλά λουλούδια και μεγάλα σκούρα ξύλινα δοκάρια που προσδιορίζουν τον παλιό νησιωτικό αιγαίοπελαγήτικο χαρακτήρα της. Εσωτερικά το λευκό χρώμα στους τοίχους με τις πολύχρωμες αγιογραφίες και με το πολύ σκούρο, σχεδόν μαύρο, χρώμα σε όλα τα ξύλινα μέρη της, όπως το τέμπλο, το ταβάνι τα στασίδια κλπ δημιουργούν μια ελαφρά μελαγχολική αίσθηση που βοηθά πολύ στο να αποκτήσει εύκολα μια αίσθηση κατάνυξης και ευλάβειας ο επισκέπτης. Περιποιημένος και καθαρός ναός προσεγμένος με μεράκι και αφοσίωση. Αξίζει να τον επισκεφτείτε.
Old and beautiful church in Theologos of Thassos. It is dedicated to Saint Demetrios. Stone-built exterior with whitewashed walls, decorated with many flowers and large dark wooden beams that define its old Aegean island character. On the inside, the white paint on the walls with the colorful hagiographies and the very dark, almost black, color on all of its wooden parts, such as the screen, the ceiling, the stalls etc create a slightly melancholy feel that helps a lot to get a feel of devotion and reverence for the visitor. A neat and tidy temple with care and dedication. Worth a visit.
