★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο Ναός της Ευαγγελίστριας άρχισε να οικοδομείτε το 1891, σε σχέδια του δημοτικού αρχιτέκτονα Γεωργίου Ζίζηλα.
Αργότερα την επίβλεψη της κατασκευής του ναού θα αναλάβει ο επόμενος δημοτικός μηχανικός Εμμανουήλ Παπακωνσταντίνου.
Για την ανέγερση του Ιερού ναού χρησιμοποιήθηκε υλικό από τον ημιτελή ναΐσκο παραπλεύρως του Τζανείου Νοσοκομείου.
Στις αρχές του 2ου αιώνα (1899-1901) η τρίκλιτη βασιλική η οποία αρχικά είχε οικοδομηθεί άνευ τρούλου και κωδωνοστασίου δέχεται τις σχετικές προσθήκες.
Την ίδια περίοδο, διευρύνεται ο νάρθηκας του ναού, διαμορφώθηκε ο προαύλιος εξωτερικός χώρος, ο οποίος αναφέρεται και ως πλατεία Ευαγγελιστρίας σε κάποιους οδηγούς της πόλης και οικοδομήθηκαν ισόγεια βοηθητικά παραρτήματα.
Σήμερα είναι μία από τις καλοδιατηρημένες και προσεγμένες Εκκλησίες τού Πειραιά, πολύ όμορφη εξωτερικά και εσωτερικά με ωραίες αγιογραφίες.

Later, the supervision of the construction of the church will be undertaken by the next municipal engineer Emmanuel Papakonstantinou.
For the construction of the Holy Temple, material was used from the unfinished temple next to the Tzanios Hospital.
At the beginning of the 2nd century (1899-1901) the three-aisled basilica, which was originally built without a dome and a bell tower, accepts the relevant additions.
At the same time, the narthex of the church was widened, the outer courtyard was formed, which is also referred to as Evangelistria Square to some drivers of the city and ground floor ancillary annexes were built.
Today it is one of the well-preserved and well-kept Churches of Piraeus, very beautiful outside and inside with beautiful paintings.
