Ikaros Suites - Dios Street

Absolutely great hotel with a swimming pool, bar, restaurant, and just 100m from the beach. We booked a junior suite but instead were upgraded to the best room in the hotel, with a double balcony with views on the swimming pool and the sea. The drinks and food at the bar and restaurant are great as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

The hotel was simply excellent the staff were welcome and friendly. The bedroom was clean and spacious with a sea view facing from the right balcony in addition to this the breakfast was also very tasteful we would 100% recommend staying here

We came on Monday after an early flight, in order to relax by the pool, have lunch and consume a lot as we were a group of 9, but it did not happen as planned because of the horrible behavior of the owners. We called before coming asking if we could come to use the pool without being guests, their answer was that "yes, absolutely" we could. We arrived and nobody explained us what/how things work so we just left our bags and belongings by the tables that are literally next to the pool and just laid around the pool, ordered drinks and tried to catch some sleep despite the lack of share all around the pool. After an hour the couple who owns the place came to us and without saying hello or anything started to shout at us to move our things from the tables because it is a restaurant area and to put things on the pool area. We explained that we didn't know that since nobody told us, and that anyway we were planning on having lunch here and consume things all day. The owner did not care and was just talking badly to us and looking at us mean and making a scandale around the place which was very annoying and degrading. We decided to leave because there was no way we were going to spend one more euro for those ungrateful and mean owners. When we went to pay our drinks he dared to ask us if we were "all drunk or what"!!! WHat kind of service is this?? We were super disappointed but managed to find a way better place who was worth our spendings. Too bad for those owners they missed on a big big bill.

Amazing Place, the best staff you could ask for. Location Is good, rooms are very nice and comfortable, there Is an amazing restaurant with a pool view. By the pool you have the bar, where you can enjoy a nice drink (from day to night). But the most important thing for me where the people Who hosted us, really amazing! I highly reccoment It.

The most friendly and hospitable place we stayed which is really saying something considering cretan hospitality. Very laid back, cool, great reasonably priced food and drinks in super relaxed and beautiful setting. Family who own it are super lovely and staff are fantastic. Booked a suite at the top for a treat and it was well worth it. Great to be out of the main hustle and bustle but still spitting distance from the ocean if you can summon the energy to leave poolside. I've never spent so much time just kicking back at a hotel!

The rooms are simple, but very spacious, bright and well kept. The outdoor is stunning with the restaurant and the bar surrounding the swimming pool. Since the hotel is small, it creates a relaxing and elegant atmosphere at the same time. Both the food and drinks (cocktails!) are of high quality. Last but not least, the staff is AMAZING. We were very sad to leave and we do really thank them for making our stay so pleasant.

We booked this hotel as a treat to ourselfs just before flying back home. The kindness of this family owned hotel blew me away. The room we stayed in was one of the most beautiful in Krete!

Exactly what we needed! We arrived late in the evening at Heraklion airport and wanted a nice place to stay for the night. Mr. Giorgos and the rest of the stuff were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. Spacious, clean rooms and reasonably priced.
