A wonderful place to rest, relax, and enjoy the sun, water, and ocean views and breezes. It's not "all-inclusive" but you hardly need to leave - with a complete breakfast service and extremely good restaurant for lunch and dinner. Two pools with poolside bar and the best Mai Tai I've had in a decade. At every turn the wonderful and friendly staff took incredible care of us. The views of the ocean were amazing and it's high enough on the hill to have access to the best breezes and be away from the bustle on the beach while still being a five minute walk away and in a pretty walkable area. Will absolutely recommend and return here again...

My husband and I stayed one night (9/28-9/29) in room #12 as we were going through the area and chose this hotel because we were impressed by the beautiful photos and great reviews. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The outside patio area is absolutely gorgeous. We dropped our bags in and left and didn’t return until late evening. We were able to get room service for dinner that was probably the best club sandwich I had eaten outside of my home country. When we used the bathroom we noticed there was a mop and bucket left in the bathroom that was giving off an odor. No big deal, maybe the staff forgot it. It was after 12am when we finally went to bed and noticed that there was no blanket, only a sheet on the bed. I looked around the room for a blanket and couldn’t find one but I did find a drawer that had a dirty mask and wipe in it. I thought to call the office to ask for a blanket but realized that the reception hours were over so my husband and I woke up several times throughout the night either freezing or sweating and adjusted the air conditioner temperature each time. I was pretty upset about this because we both got horrible sleep and had a very busy day the next day. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully laid out. When we took showers we realized what the mop was for. The shower was very small and nearly impossible to wash your body in while staying inside of the confines of the shower curtain. The shower curtain kept sticking to you while you kept bumping into some cord hanging from the ceiling and the faucet handles. The water from the shower got all over the bathroom floor and wet the dirty clothes I had on the floor. This appears to be a design flaw and not the fault of the staff. The drain on the bathroom floor was bent and kept coming out and was a tripping hazard. Summary: We were disappointed in the condition of the bathroom and not having a blanket/comforter to sleep under at night. We were impressed with the outside area, breakfast, and friendliness of the staff.

the hotel is the view from the restaurant and magnificent in the evening, but the lack of professionalism of the bartender stephanos it seems to me and very mediocre, smokes, and looks at his phone in full service, cocktail a little too dosed in alcohol. Otherwise the food was excellent nothing to say about it.

The staff and hotel are just perfect. Everyone are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are super clean and comfortable and you’ll definitely feel you get a lot for the money you spend. We bought the breakfast buffet and the opportunities and flavor was also just a delight. If I’m returning to Crete again this hotel is definitely going to be my choice! We left the hotel after viewing our room. It totally didn't meet our expectations. Wouldn't recommend booking the 'seaside view room', it is very small, you barely see the sea (+ you can't even open your curtains, because the pool(bar) is right in front of your room) and all the rooms are packed next to each other. What we found most disappointing was that all the pictures show the new/modern building, but in reality 75%-80% of the visitors stay in an older building. So, in our opinion, the pictures on booking certainly do not match reality. The staff was friendly and tried to give us a new room, but this new room was located opposite the kitchen.. Looking at a wall is no seaside view & to smell the kitchen in our room... that's not what we had in mind when we booked it.

Hôtel is in splendid condition, well designed with different spaces and 2 beautiful swimming pool plus one small for babies . Restaurant is great with different menus for day and evening ( local did as well as more international options ) cocktails from Stephanos are fantastic . Staff is not invasive and really super welcoming. So great experience. To note beach is five minutes away walking.

The rooms are very clean! And cleaned often so everyday you have a clean and tidy room. Breakfast is fresh and enough choise. Staff is very kind and helpfull.

Amazing place to stay. Very friendly welcome with a homemade lemonade! The room for 2 people was a little bit smaller than expected, but it had everything we needed. It was very clean and beautiful! I would definitely recommend the breakfast, it has everything you want and it's all so fresh! Stunning view from the restaurants and the pools. Very friendly staff and cute cats ;) who want you to have a relaxed stay. At the day we were leaving we could take a shower and borrow towels. Thank you a lot for all Irida! We will come back!
