The room was generally clean and there was a grocery store for all the necessary stuff.. Negative: There was a tavern right under the room and there was noise at night, plus the tavern turned on a huge light, right towards our balcony, which made it impossible to sit and relax on the balcony in the evening. The shower ceiling was falling off, and there was no shower/shampoo provided. The internet was slow, but that is generally how it is in Crete. There was a truck being repaired right next door, which was really unsanitary- the loud sound and the smell was horrible. The host asked me to leave earlier than the check-out time, which I thought to be rude, especially since it was raining and I had to wait in the light rain for my ride..
K	Karl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Good location for an end of season basecamp for relaxing, swimming, hiking, nearby climbing, running. Beautiful view of Ligaria Beach, very quiet in October. Negative: 1. WIFI not working due to misconfigured router. We were offered to use WIFI in non occupied neighboring apartment having another router. Nobody available to correct. This was the main nuisance especially as we highlighted it being important for us. 2. Heating system of AC not working. Compressor continuously tripping. It can get quite cool after days without sun. 3. Three times showering without warm water in 7 days (switching action to electric aux. water heater not known or interfered by caretaker).

On the beach, shop on the ground floor, the opportunity to cook, working wifi and all 30 min. from the airport !! I will recommend the place to all acquaintances and friends. Really great !!!
