I came this summer and stayed five days at joan palace and i liked very good staff with good food and very clean pool and i will be back

Great staff.. Great breakfast... Value for money.... Renovated hotel.... Pay attention to the HK.... Balcony full of dust... Shower inox... Dirty... Not cleaned properly... Elevator leading to 317 was very dirty to touch even the buttons. Small details makes the difference.

Disappointed! Booked half board for August. Rang hotel and advised we are vegetarian family they assured there will be varieties. Whole hotel is recently refurbished and family room specially was specious and was giving feeling of 4 star. However utterly disappointed with limited food options, even after suggesting them for some vegetarian dishes almost same menu everyday for us we end up having food outside for the time. Considering in Greece at this time expect some cooling deserts but no ice creams... You have to order water bottle but can not be served tap water in the evening ( can have it in morning) same deserts until they run out and then new dishes can come out(often 3 days ) Staff was excellent, when advised of our late arrival, they suggested and left snack box in the fridge for is, which was great gesture, they even accommodated our request for late check out. Room cleaning is every 3 days unless you advise them a day before. We had broken glass and I been given broom to clean myself(past midnight), and yet no room services next day, because we haven't advised them a day before !! Overall OK experience but I would not recommend anyone to consider full board/ half board in this place. Even for non vegetarian you will be seeing only 6/7 dishes and same salad bar daily. 5/6 deserts and no ice cream or any such delicacies.. you will end up paying for drinks and water too. And yes no tea/coffee in the room.

Huge issue with cleanliness and the cleaning staff. The room was very unpleasant upon entering - probably not aerated between the previous check out and our check in, stuffy atmosphere and really hot inside. A band-aid was stuck under the toothbrush glass and the toilet had seen better days from a cleanliness view point. The refrigerator isn’t cooling anything as it is located in a cupboard and is not ventilated properly. The hotel doesn’t have parking, although they claim to have one (in the booking channels). Breakfast was bland and generic, though the setting of the bar was nice. On the second day, the cleaners didn’t bother to clean our room at all or ar least change towels because “it’s almost 3pm and it’s the end of my shift lol”. Location is convenient, prices were sensible but overall it is a hotel with sketchy health standards, suitable strictly as a budget solution for a quick visit.

Good location close to old town. Not possible to resign from breakfast and dinner. Said meals are very poor quality, You are way better off eating in town. Plus they charge you extra for beverages to dinner... and the prices are absurd. Rooms are nice but the ac blows directly on the bed. Service did not replace body washes or shampoos.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the hotel for 8 days. The staff is helpful and friendly. The room was cleaned every single day around 10:00 - 12:00 with clean towels. Sadly we had some dirty stains in our linen and pillows. The room itself was clean every single day. Breakfast is served between 07:30 and 10:00 and has a good variation. Diner is served between 19:00 and 21:00 and was okay, but far from perfect. (After 2 days we decided to skip Diner in the hotel) We enjoyed the stay, but there is room for improvement.

Spent 4 days here, and absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is fully renovated and looks very modern, rooms are spacious, quiet and well-furnished no matter it's economy or higher class. The only thing that could be better is to add towel hangers to bathroom for economy rooms. Location is perfect for both beach and city walks. Nice selection for breakfast and dinner, including fruits and desserts. It was nice to get a bottle of wine with fruits as a welcome set, and some snacks in our room as we arrived late, too. Great view from rooftop pool to enjoy with some cocktails. Very caring and helpful staff. It's possible to postpone the check-out time for a reasonable price. Would love to come back again, and definitely recommend this hotel for couples who don't like typical 'resort' holidays.
