★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Calmari was not really good,but the cat enjoyed it. The burger was served without a bun and also not good. The only thing I could eat was French frites. My friend enjoyed pork steak though. For quick food on the beach ok,but not for a proper dinner.

STAGE 02 - LEPADA BEACH near Lixouri.
We first discovered this beach last September 2018 and loved the food and atmosphere of the beach and taverna.
We travelled from Karavados to Lepada via the ARGOSTOLI to Lixouri ferry arriving around 13:30 just in time for lunch.
Our favourite is a Greek Meze and so we selected a feast of starters. Saganaki cheese, white bait, squid, village sausage, fried zucchini, tzatziki, Greek salad, bread and washed down with large glasses of draught Alpha and an iced coffee for Sarah.
Two sun beds plus parasol are only 5 euros but we were not charged. The sea is lovely to swim from and Sarah and I used our full face snorkels and saw many fish around the rock edge.
The second trip was as good as the first in ever aspect and we will return again soon when my grandchildren visit the island in the summer.
