Wonderful sacred space with a long tradition, but there should be nuns and not closed and rarely work in time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Treba obići ovaj izuzetan lokalitet. Crkva je u steni, izad koje se naziru ostaci krova od veće konstrukcije, koja se srušila u zemljotresu.
You should visit this exceptional locality. The church is in the rock, behind which are the remains of a roof of a larger structure, which collapsed in the earthquake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ziet er van buiten erg vervallen uit. Het hek was dicht (sowieso valt het hek bijna uit elkaar en wordt het bijeengehouden door ijzerdraad) dus niet vanbinnen kunnen bekijken. Om er te komen maak je wel een mooie strandwandeling. Leuk om even naartoe te lopen als je er toch in de buurt ben, maar anders zou ik er niet heen gaan.
Looks very dilapidated from the outside. The gate was closed (anyway the gate almost falls apart and is held together by iron wire) so cannot be viewed from the inside. To get there you make a nice beach walk. Nice to just walk if you're in the area, but otherwise I would not go there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gate was closed, and it didn't look as if anyone was there and has been there for a long time. I would not recommend going to this monastery, because the one near Lixouri is more accessible, and the big one on the other side of the island is far more impressive. Also, this monastery looks like it needs some work done. The view on the other hand is very nice.
