★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In all the places we went in Crete none had the warmth, homeliness, and genuinely amazing food like Stelios and Katina. Sourcing all ingredients from local farms or the near by mountains you could taste the freshness and essential flavors Cretan food has to offer. The staff, amazing does not begin to describe them enough, we were welcomed as if we were family and respected as such. Warm smiles, light hearted jokes, and true expertise of the region were always present. If you stay in Kissamos this restaurant is the must visit of the area, even just driving through make a quick stop for some stuffed cuttlefish, zucchini flowers, or fantastic lamb is essential. I know for certain in our next trip to Crete Stelios and Katina will be a spot not to be missed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good restaurant, one of the best in Kissamos. The staff are really nice and friendly and the food is really nice! Would have given 5 stars, but my Moussaka missed some flavours.. but the Dakos, Shrimp Saganaki and Tuna fillet were super good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were surprised to see that this place had a garden area in the back. It was beautiful with the greenery, vines, trees and plants.
The menu was good. David had the cretan pork cooked in wine and olive oil and I had chicken slavaki. The pork was excellent. It was with the traditional noodles which my husband loved with the parmesan cheese.
We had the boiled greens... Very generous portion. Also had fantastic bread with the dinner.
The wonderful Greek "surprise" was a cake with ice cream and a bottle of raki. Really love the Greek tradition of the extra treat or drink.
... If we don't get one we never go back because for years and years every restaurant did it.
The waiter was very attentive. We loved that he knew his menu so well and could offer suggestions. We got a wine that wasn't as sweet as we had hoped.... He suggested another and took the other bottle back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food and great customer service! There is a nice garden at the back. We had dakos (see the picture) and the main goat dish that the waiter recommended, nice and tasty.

Pricing we a little on the higher side of what I prefer, however, to the average tourist or guest it is fairly priced and a good value.
If you are staying in one of the nearby hotels, it’s proximity is well worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went here following the recommendation of our host on a day ewe were too tired to go somewhere further away. Good little local restaurant with traditional Greek cuisine and simple yet nice style. The food was very good, all local products and the staff was very friendly.
