★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW! This place is so good. Prices are extremely reasonable and the portions are extremely large. The food is really local and so tasty! Locals come here as well. This has a nice ambience altogether. You even get a dessert from the house at the end. Make sure you go here when you are in the area!

Went there because of its pictures. Better if you book up in advance because its always crowded. The place to be.
Service's quick and friendly, the atmosphere is very cool and the place's beautiful.
Food was outstanding, went for a hot starter that's normally a cold one called dakos. It was sublime. Homemade tomato sauce with meat and cheese. Yumss
Besides had the brochettes of meat that is served in a spade, really really enjoyed it. That was more than enough for dinner.
Strongly recommend it, if I ever come back to Agyos Nikolaos, Ill come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We absolutely recommend this restaurant! Sympathic and friendly stuff. Delicious food in a great athmosphere with view at the lake of Agios Nikolaos. Perfect meat and fish dishes with good prices. We came here twice during our 5 days stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice atmosphere on the square overlooking the lake. Very relaxed. We spent an extra hour finishing our dessert and raki-no one rushed us. Our food was very tasty-various meze plates. We didn’t get the seafood platter but it looked amazing!

Staff is quite nice, working fast, so 2 STARS for them.
But quality of food is very low.
The food is not fresh and it was visible on a first sight!
The starters on house were horrible, probably prepared few days ago.
The food we ordered - fried squid, green salad, crab spread, some potatoes - EVERYTHING WAS HORRIBLE.
Salad not fresh, squid not prepared good, crab spread probably from supermarket…
We didn’t finish the food, just try a piece from everything and nobody ask us if there’s a problem. Btw., one of us had some stomach problems for the rest of the day.
So we payed and left immediately.
We were really disappointed.

The staff there are very friendly, especially the floor manager who is happy to spark up conversation with you.
We ate Gyros, and pushed the boat out to try some snails. It was all delicious and with very generous portions. Give them a try!
It's right next to the central lake of Agios Nikolaos so the views and atmosphere are great.
I'd happily go back and enjoy another meal there. They even kindly gave us some free treats towards the end of the meal.
