Μπήκα μέσα στο φαράγγι του καταρράκτη που πλημηριζε από νερό και τώρα τίποτα. Στις φωτό θα τα δείτε αυτά. Με αμάξι κανονικό πάει αλλά σιγά σιγά. Με παιδιά ούτε κατά διάνοια εκτός αν έχετε κατσίκια. Καθώς έφευγα πριν φτάσω στο δρόμο είδα να τρέχει νερό από κάτι σπασμένο. Το έφτιαξα πρόχειρα με ένα μπουκάλι. Αξίζει να το ψάξετε. Κατεβαίνεις το βουνό με τα πόδια. Αφήνεις το αμάξι όπου να ναι. Well summer is very nice. Water is running. I went in September and all I saw was everything dry. Not a drop. I entered the gorge of the waterfall that was flooded with water and now nothing. You will see these in the photos. With a normal car it goes but slowly. With children or mentally unless you have kids. As I was leaving before I reached the road I saw water running from something broken. I made it roughly with a bottle. It is worth looking for. You go down the mountain on foot. You leave the car wherever it is.

Θα ήθελα να μοιραστώ την εμπειρία μου: - Ο καταρράκτης έχει νερό από την Άνοιξη μέχρι τον Ιούνιο - Ιούλιο το μέγιστο. ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ, υπάρχουν περίοδοι που αναβαίνει η στάθμη του νερού. - Η εύρεση του καταρράκτη είναι (αρκετά) δύσκολη. Εμείς ακολουθήσαμε την κάτωθι διαδρομή για την εύρεση του καταρράκτη και την οποία συνιστώ: * Άφιξη στο χωριό του Καλάμου. * Στάθμευση αυτοκινήτου στο γήπεδο 5Χ5 (άνετος υπαίθριος χώρο στάθμευσης). * Πεζοπορία 20 λεπτών σε χωμάτινο δρόμο (άνετη πεζοπορία). * Μετά, υπάρχει ένα μεγάλο χωράφι με ελιές και από εκεί υπάρχει μονοπάτι για κατάβαση στο φαράγγι του καταρράκτη. - Η διαδρομή μέσα στο φαράγγι είναι (ΑΚΡΩΣ) απαιτητική. Απαιτούνται παπούτσια πεζοπορίας/ορειβασίας, σχοινί για την κατάβαση (τουλάχιστον 10-12 μέτρα σχοινί), υπάρχουν τμήματα που θα χρειαστεί να βουτήξεις στο νερό για να διασχίσεις το φαράγγι. - Μόνο ένα σακίδιο μαζί σας με τα άκρως απαραίτητα. Το επιπλέον βάρος δεν θα βοηθήσει στην διαδρομή και υπάρχει κίνδυνος να βραχούν τα πράγματα. Σήμα στο κινητό δεν υπάρχει. Μην παραλείψετε να έχετε μαζί σας, σχοινί 10-12 μέτρα (ΟΠΩΣΔΗΠΟΤΕ), πετσέτες (σε περίπτωση που βραχεί κάποιος), δεύτερα ρούχα και παπούτσια, σακούλες απορριμμάτων (μην αφήσετε σκουπίδια στον καταρράκτη) και πετσέτες για να καθίσετε στα καθίσματα του αυτοκινήτου. Ο καταρράκτης είναι υπέροχος και η θέα του καταπλήττει. Αξίζει να επισκεφθείτε τον καταρράκτη με ιδιαίτερη προσοχή και υπομονή! Hello! I visited the waterfall of Kalamos on Sunday 03.04.2022. I would like to share my experience: - The waterfall has water from Spring to June - July at the most. ATTENTION, there are periods when the water level rises. Finding the waterfall is (quite) difficult. We followed the following route to find the waterfall and which I recommend: * Arrival in the village of Kalamos. * Car parking at the 5X5 stadium (comfortable outdoor parking). * 20 minute walk on a dirt road (comfortable hiking). * Then, there is a large field with olive trees and from there there is a path to descend to the gorge of the waterfall. - The route in the gorge is (EXTREMELY) demanding. Hiking / mountaineering shoes are required, a rope for the descent (at least 10-12 meters of rope), there are sections that you will need to dive in the water to cross the gorge. - Only a backpack with you with the essentials. The extra weight will not help along the way and there is a risk of getting wet. There is no signal on the cell phone. Do not forget to bring with you a rope 10-12 meters (DEFINITELY), towels (in case someone gets wet), second clothes and shoes, garbage bags (do not leave rubbish in the waterfall) and towels to sit in the car seats. The waterfall is magnificent and the view is amazing. It is worth visiting the waterfall with special care and patience!
