We had a pleasant stay at katikies chromates hotel. However the location is a little far from Fira and some is uphill which is a little difficult after being in lockdown. Also the walk is less well lit at night. The hotel is more expensive than I have paid in the past for other hotels so don’t think I’d return but just booked as it was available a week before flying out. (I booked last minute due to covid). I think there are better hotels out there for the price. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. Any issues we had during our stay were quickly remedied. Thank you

The hotel is located conveniently in the middle of Imerovigli. There are several restaurants and bar just within walking distance of the hotel lobby along the main pathway. We are still here on our 2nd day and have one more full day to stay. We had originally booked the honeymoon suite, but we’re upgraded to Master pool suite. The management team is amazing and super attentive, Panos, the assistant manager was helping us and was available at ANY time we needed anything. All hotel staff are super polite and very friendly. Stavers (Steve) the restaurant manager personally came to visit us after our second breakfast. Our check in was just before noon and we had taken the ferry, the hotel kindly offered us a breakfast on the house, even though we had not checked in yet. We also got a complimentary champagne and fruit salad upon arrival. For our return flight in two days, the hotel arranged for our PCR test to be done in our room (additional cost to be paid directly to the visiting dr.). Katikies hotels work with a tour service that did all our pick up drop offs very conveniently. You can walk from the hotel 25 minutes one way to Fira. Great scenery all around. The rooms of the hotel have the entire caldera view which is just out of a post card. Overall, loved our experience here, great hotel, super nice and professional staff, very helpful concierge. If we come back to Santorini, we’ll definitely stay here again.

Great services, and friendly staff. Stunning view and great location(right between oia and fero). Room services are easy to arrange and make appointments. The front staffs always there to help with almost anything. Pretty pool, and staffs at the bar are also great and easy to speak with. Enjoy the breakfast with the view at your private terrace. Only downside sides are.. watch out the low ceilings, it hurts. Toilet flushes are really weak. Despite disappointment with the room,, I think it worth the money because of the view, the pool, location and superb staffs.

We moved to Chromata from our hotel down the road because we had a bad experience and checked out early. Well let me tell you; the moment we walked into reception you could tell this place was special. We were upgraded to a lovely room with an indoor jacuzzi - bags of space and very clean. I loved the evening turn down service. I absolutely loved the pool area, we neglected our plans to wander out and explore because it was just so nice lying but the pool on the comfy sun beds, looking at the view and lovely music playing from the restaurant. Service was exceptional, everyone so friendly and attentive. Occasionally got a little drink / smoothie surprise by the pool which was a lovely touch. The poolside menu was also reasonable and portions were generous. My only negatives as I think it’s useful to share; some elements in our room (door into bathroom, furniture, shower floor) need updating as they look a little worn. I also thought that the drinks menu was a little too expensive (€20 for a cocktail/ €11 euro for a local beer).

Single best stay I have ever had. Gerougous location professional staff. Stairs can be a bit much.

The most friendly staff ever. Beautiful hotel. great location walking distance to Fira if you are tall make sure you get a room that you can stand in the shower. I am short so was not a big deal for me. but I am very impressed how nice and accommodating the staff were. small main pool but they are all that way in Santorini.

Our stay at the Katikies Chromata was nothing short of amazing. Greatest concierge service- Mary was so accommodating and helped us our entire stay. From making reservations, to scheduling transfers to and from excursions, she was always so helpful. Definitely recommend this place! Ask for Mary!

This hotel was everything we could have asked for on our honeymoon. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Room 17 was perfectly located next to the pool but still allowed for some privacy on the balcony. Also appreciated the location with a very short walk to many views, restaurants and tourist activities. The staff working here were phenomenal and always made sure we were well taken care of at all hours. The complimentary breakfast was a luxury as well. I would absolutely recommend this place to others and hope to return someday!
