★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Santorini mansion in June 2016. Its a small business: just 3 or 4 rooms I think. Like all of the view hotels in this area, there are some stairs and walking from the nearest road but this one can be a short walk if you find the correct spot to navigate to by car. The location is excellent for caldera view looking back towards Firi and the cruise ship ports along the coast. This place is up hill from the walking path. Our room had a patio with pergola type shade. The patio faces directly to the walking path so there is some foot traffic coming by. If you prefer complete privacy, a location on the other side of the path may be preferred but we didn't mind an occasional hello from passers by. The room was quite fine and the service was superb.
