If I could give Kinsterna 6 stars I would. It is the most magical place. It just gave us a feeling from the moment we left the car and we’re taken up to reception on the golf buggy. It was breathtakingly beautiful, the photos online don’t really do it justice. It is teeming with mature bright colourful plants and flowers and wildlife. The mansion has been so respectfully restored. Even newer buildings have been given so much character! The attention to detail at this hotel is amazing, with guests comfort and needs in mind (one small example is they have put coat hooks up by the sunbeds at the pool) and our room was wonderful, huge bed and proper black out wooden shutters. The staff are all so friendly whilst still remaining incredibly professional and great! My fiancé and I are both vegan, whilst the first breakfast wasn’t great, the breakfast team asked us what we wanted and we made some suggestions and they made us EVERYTHING!! Vegan pancakes with fresh berries, chocolate banana bread, they sourced us some vegan cheese, loukoumades (sort of a doughnut ish ball you can dip in agave!) We had a similar experience with dinner, they had one vegan dish on the dinner menu (pumpkin risotto which was very tasty) but we didn’t want to have the same thing every night, at first it was a little hard and we had a bit of a disaster dinner that night, but we gave a few suggestions and the next night the chef made us a delicious celeriac veloute to start and then two different vegan meals - a lentil and mushroom Ragu with pasta and a mushroom and truffle risotto. The ragu was AMAZING! We ate like royalty for the rest of the trip. The staff seem to take care of the stray cats and dogs which makes me love the hotel even more. We didn’t make it down to the beach this time but we will definitely be returning to Kinsterna and will try to check it out in the future!

A great estate surrounded by an amazing garden impeccably kept. Suite 45 was a great treat. During my very short stay I enjoyed the house wine at the bar and the orange sweet at the breakfast buffet.

We stayed at Kinsterna Hotel for three nights, and we had the most amazing experience ever! The hotel location is great, just 10 minutes away from Monemvasia, a cute little Medieval town inside a fortress. The staff was very kind, always ready to help us with anything we might need. Our room was terrific, very spacious, modern and clean, and our bed was probably the most comfortable bed I ever slept in. We had a lovely balcony with a small garden just in front where they cultivated some vegetables. The food was overall very tasty! The breakfast is a continental buffet with a wide variety of options with fruits, juices, eggs, pastries and cereals available. At the restaurant, you can find delicious food and wines very well prepared and presented (can’t forget those fantastic scallops), and at the tavern, you get a more local experience with some delicious regional food slowly cooked in the oven. The hotel has two main pools, one for families and the other one for adults, and from both, you can enjoy a fantastic sunrise just before breakfast. The Spa facilities are beautifully decorated, and I really enjoyed the jacuzzi. We got a signature massage at the Spa that we loved – body scrubbing with grapes, sugar and honey! Highly recommend you to do a wine tasting at Kinsterna! You’ll get to learn a bit more about the wines of the region with Nikos, who will explain to you everything about the history of each wine and its properties. Every day the hotel hosts a different activity which is amazing! From Honey harvesting, grape stomping to soap making, you won’t have time to be bored at this hotel. Also, the hotel facilities are beautiful and perfect to walk around and contemplate nature.

What an amazing place. I am a seasoned traveler, but the atmosphere, the hospitality, the luxury and the location are amazing. The restaurant could easily have a michelin star. Such impeccable dinner only matches Varoulko, Spondi or similar restaurants. Smiling staff, there to help.

It was a fantastic experience. The food, views, service, amenities, and staff were phenomenal. We utilized their babysitting, boat tour, wine tasting and other services. They werefully flexible and was overall an anticipated experience for a 5-star hotel. Will go back.

Not a five star in any way. I really wanted to love Kinsterna. It was a bucket list item for a long time. Unfortunately it wasn't what I had imagined. The place is a 5 star hotel only on paper. There is a spa but seems like there isn't. There is a pool but there was no one around. They advertise a beach but the place is in the mountains. There are fine dining restaurants but not at this time of the year. There are activities but we didn't see any. All in all I would recommend Kinsterna if you are looking for a well decorated quality hotel. And it's probably the perfect 4 star.

Absolutely superb!!! A bit pricey but totally worth the expense. It is an unforgettable experience and we are planning to go back as often as we can afford to. Even our dog absolutely enjoyed himself.
