★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the port for taking a ferry to Bălos lagoon and Gramvousa island. It has a lot of parking places, in the start of September 2021 it was about 40% full. Good services, roads and parking can be improved.

One of the best - because here you can by tickets to theone of the most beautiful place in the world - Balos Beach and Gramvousa Iland.
Here located company which organized tours to this beautiful places.
For 25 € you can by tickets for the excursion.
Departure of the ships - avout 10-30/10-40.
You must be before this time.
On ship you can have dinner and also the bar is open

They have toilets, parking lot and restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good service and easy to book tickets. The ferry which we rode was awesome. Food, however, wasnt so great. They take you for two stops - Gramvousa and Balos beach.
Good access to the buses to Chania.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ferries from this port are a very good way to reach the Balos Lagoon. You won’t have to climb all the way up and down the mountain to reach the lagoon, as you would if you decide to take the car instead. The boat can be crowded, though.
And remember that you still have to be able to climb over some stones and rocks to reach the lagoon from the boat, so it’s not an option for disabled people.
