★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bakery is for sure one of the best on crete! Enjoy traditional sweets ? (I strongly recommend the Galaktobureko?, it‘s delicious) at a good price. If you plan a trip to paleochora it‘s a great place for a short rest or a take away ?
The village of kandanos has completely been destroyed during WW2 and you can read more about the history at the memorial located only a few meters from the bakery.
