Out of the way of the more popular beaches around the Paleochora area, Koundoura beach and all beachs is close proximity offer more privacy and quiet than the known "Pahia ammos" beach along with cleaner and clearer waters. If you have a mean of transport or feel like a small hike, go check it out.
I	I. Ravn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place if you want to put a quiet tent at night and sleep undisturbed. Mostly stones, so few people come. At the edge which is towards the city there are 2 real umbrellas ( see photo because I can't describe) placed permanently. Toilets are far away if need be, but it's nice all in all.
