★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best independent Car Hire Company we've used. We went there purely based on reading reviews of local firms offering Car Hire in and around Stalis/Malia AND WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. It's a small family firm with one office right at the end of the Stalis-Malia road towards Hersonosis. We had to walk about 20 mins from our hotel, Kyknos Beach, passing loads of other Car Rental Firms, it was well worth the walk. On the way to them we naturally checked other firms to compare against what we had read BUT to be honest NONE really convinced us to go against our gut feeling and the reviews we had read. We arrived at KOURITES relatively small shop/office, there was no one outside trying to "pressure" you to come in but as we walked through the door we were met by a friendly smile from a lady who introduced herself as Rita. Within 10 mins we had a group B car over 7 days for 160euros, no deposit, no credit card, full 100%insurance, 24 hour breakdown and recovery, tyre protection etc. Etc.etc. After 7 days we returned the car and they drove us back to our Hotel - NO QUIBBLES, NO DISCUSSIONS, a simple and easy way to enjoy Crete - KOURITES were truly top - if ever we come back to this area of Crete then KOURITES will be our only choice for Car Hire.

All communication has been excellent and everything went smoothly from start to finish. I have no hesitation in recommending this car hire company and we will certainly use them again on our return to Crete.
