★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This lovely village is the real essence of Crete. It is only a short walk from Hersonissos but the atmosphere is really worth going. Small bars and restaurants serving genuine home cooked food.

Doesn’t have the great friendly staff that the other restaurants. No free bread and dips. No draught beer. Very poor compared to the other restaurants. Roast lamb was nice but had stood for a while and the the meat in the spaghetti had walked from the mainland.
Needs improvement...sorry
