★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately buses are the only way (unless you have your own car or you get a taxi) to travel around Crete.
Ànd am say that cause the prices are not as low as maybe in the UK, Spain or Czech Republic.
But still, the staff here is very friendly (except maybe some drivers). Over all thought even though you don't really have a choice, buses in crete are quite alright.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are some different views around the island. The two principals beaches are incredible. With a blue sea. But at the moment the unique bar/taverna/restaurant is closed so you have to bring food and water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a single room bus terminal with ticket purchasing and package delivery and about as bare bones as it can get. It does have toilets but not really wheelchair accessible. Minimal indoor seating only street parking available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bus station itself is nothing much, and there are not many outdoors seating places. The inside is, however, air conditioned and there are many chairs that you can arrange freely. The buses are very fine - they are more like tourist buses than city buses. Departure times from the station are usually not off by more than 5 minutes, but don't count on arrival times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The busses are always full even with the pandemic rules and the staff handing out tickets are especially stingy and unhelpful. No issues with drivers or luggage loading staff.
