The service was professional and on-spot. The pizza was good, the Sauvignon Blanc was quite boring and overpriced at 10€ a glass. Overall a bit too pricey for what was offered.

What to say… wonderful experience, the sea bass was tasting like sea water, the ravioli handmade looked like roses and the dough had nothing less than the one you usually find in Bologna. The food was clean and you find here passion and competence all in for the main product. The service was competent (the waiters never walked with empty hands and they looked around on the tables every time before going back to the kitchen/bar) and you can see the owner is not saving money on employees. The owner was deliciously competent and charming, not pressing to sale and sale but just focused on your happiness at the table. Hidden star, only for few: the wine menu is not classical for tourists, you find gems wines like Batar from Toscana, a bio dynamic wine, a star of the Cantine Querciabella, difficult to get and very difficult to serve , because of its organoleptic characteristics. We loved this place and we look forward to be on the 26th in Korfu town again and enjoy this wonderful hospitality experience. Thank you so much !!!

I do not recommend this restaurant at all. My husband and I sat down, ordered wine and cakes worth over 50 euros, but when they realized that we would not order salty food, they literally kicked us out of the restaurant, took in front of us drinks and an envelope that we paid for and did not have the opportunity to eat and drink. they are very rude, they look at people only through a large amount of money. the restaurant really has nothing to offer you nicely, it has no soul.

Amazing pizza and pasta, as close to authenticate Italian as you're likely to find outside of Napoli. Other than in Italy itself there's only one other place in world where I've had truely great pizza (Sartori just off from Leicester Square in London for anyone interested), this however is now the second. All the food is of a superb standard (although the beef carpaccio could have five with a little less dressing). There was some confusion when ordering a green salad on the side (somehow lots of lettuce was understood as no lettuce but lots of tomato). The wines that we tried were of a good quality (the Pinot Noir by the glass was superb). This is an excellent place for a lovely dinner in the heart of Corfu town.

I wouldn’t recommend a visit here. Quick Summary: Ambience: 9/10 Food: 3/10 Service: 2/10 Prices: 0/10 (realistically should go negative…) Starting with the good: The ambience is wonderful. A small street, tucked away from the noise of the main strip. Absolutely beautiful. Candles on the tables, birds chirping, you couldn’t ask for much better. Now the bad: Service: The service was fine. The problem was there was no continuity, 1 person sat us, another person took our drink order, another our dinner, someone new stopped by to ask if we had been helped, another person delivered out food to us, There clearly wasn’t a system in place. And it wasn’t busy. We had the whole street to ourselves. We felt very rushed through our dinner. It wasn’t a relaxed dining experience; and certainly not an Italian one (I can say that with confidence having spent the last two weeks split between Rome and Bari). None of this was a big deal, but for the prices we were paying we expected something a bit more seamless and less rushed. Food: I was disappointed with the food, frankly. We started with the bread and olives. The bread was fine, two pieces of bread and a couple crostini sticks. A bit sparse (compared to the loaves we’ve had other places), but not a big deal, but the olives it came with were bitter and acidic. Yuck. For appetizers we ordered the Tricolore (a caperse). Buffalo mozzarella with tomato and basil. We didn’t finish it... The mozzarella tasted as though it had come from the freezer, it was mushy and crunchy at the same time. Exactly what you’d expect half frozen cheese to taste like. Melting, but still had ice chunks in it. For our main course we ordered the Beef Filet, and the Tuna. I won’t comment on the beef, as my spouse had that, but the Tuna was good. I liked it. Prices: Our bill was as follows: Bread: 5e. Tricolor/Caprese: 15e. Beef fIlet: 35e. Tuna 35e. Pelegríno 8e. Wine: 38e. It’s tough to be mad at a restaurant for charging the prices that they offered, but I will say, 8 euros is more than we payed for 12 liters of sparking water (a 6 pack). 15 euros for half mozzarella and tomatoes was not worth it. 35 euros for tuna?!? It was good tuna but it wasn’t worth 35 euros. We had full dinners for less than 35 euros. The final nail in the coffin, however, was when they asked for a tip upon their payment prompt. This was our first experience with this in Italy or Greece and it felt very uncomfortable; very much “against the grain” of the culture they had. Of all the dinners we had in Rome, Bari, and Corfu, this was the most expensive and the worst tasting. I feel as though this place is a tourist trap. This was the first time I felt this way on my whole trip, and it’s a shame. It’s a stain on the otherwise wonderful hospitality and food of Corfu.

Most simply said, I would call this place a tourist trap. We are coming to Greece after a 10 day trip through Italy ( Rome and Puglia). This food was not even close to the amazing flavors and art of true Italian cuisine. The prices are steep for the food and service provided. We have always been willing to pay for a great dining experience and this did not meet the mark. Overall, this has been our first meal in Europe where we have been disappointed. I truly felt rushed throughout the entire meal even though they were not busy. We could barely hold a conversation because someone was at our table every 5 minutes asking if they could remove our dishes. The service just felt very clunky and unpolished. They were cleaning up our table before we had even finished our meal. The manager even offered us a lemon-cello “ to go” and were not very subtle about wanting us to wrap it up. (We had only stayed about 10 minutes after paying our bill to finish our wine.)This is not what I would have expected for their price point.( 140 euros for 1 appetizer , 2 entrees, and a 38 euro bottle of wine.) The mozzarella in the caprese was mushy, the steak filet was tough and flavorless, the complimentary olives were over ripe and bitter, and the tuna was rare when we requested medium. Overall, the food lacked the flavor I have come accustomed to since traveling through Italy and Greece. For a 40 euro entree I expected better. As I read through these reviews I am wondering if our appearance did not appear to be “rich” enough for “great” service. We had come from a swim and came back to our airbnb, changed and walked down the street for a close dinner. This however is no excuse, as any real fine dining establishment treats all of their patrons with respect and with their best service. Upon paying our bill the waitress asked us about leaving a tip and only offered tips in percentages. Even at nicer restaurants than this is Europe we have not been asked to leave a tip. (We are usually quite generous). I just found this distasteful and was a bit taken off guard. We were unimpressed with the entire meal, and I reccomend saving your time and money and dine at one of the wonderful nearby local restaurants as their food and service is far superior.

Delicious Italian Pizza. Everyone is extremely nice and helpful treating us like a movie stars :) we really enjoyed the food and surrounding atmosphere. Five stars is not enough.

We ate here as a family of 4 and the restaurant was so accommodating- understanding we hadn't made a reservation but finding somewhere for us anyway. The Angus steak was beautiful- the added touch of black salt brought out the flavours and was a first for both me and my partner. The steak was served with a mushroom sauce- very creamy and seasoned perfectly. Even the veg tasted lovely. The kids loved the pizza but weren't too keen on the garlic bread- it was made with fresh garlic spread over the cooked dough- for an adult it was authentic and appreciated but not maybe what a child has in mind when ordering garlic bread. The first white wine on the menu was a lovely addition to the steak. I wouldn't usually drink white but after trying a sip of my partners I was persuaded. This restaurant is a must try and a definite gem in the centre of corfu town.
