★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited Lauda last week! The food was good - some hits and misses but the view and great service makes up for it. The gazpacho was too watery for my liking but everything else was good for the Vegan/Vegetarian menu. My boyfriend’s fish for his main was too dry but otherwise, everything else was pretty good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful views, the best restaurant manager and waiters. We got given blankets (it's a bit chilly since it directly faces the sea), and roses! Service was impeccable, and the tasting menu was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing food that can be bit pricey. This place is certainly pricy and there is no other way around it that the food is also amazing. They do a modern interpretation on some of the local classics. Favorite is their take on Santorini Fava with smoked egg yolk. Get the wine pairing to get a taste of the variety of wines as the wine menu mark up is high.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing spot! Truly loved our dinner here for 4. We each got the discovery menu with the wine pairing and the dishes were all complex, interesting, amazingly flavorful and memorable. Also the service is so nice!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful experience at Lauda and definitely not “overpriced” as some comments say. You get what you pay for and its not just about the food here, even though the gastronomy was amazing combined with the view; it was an out of this world experience . I highly recommend a visit especially for honeymooners. it was definitely a highlight during our trip. beautiful touch with the rose.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Initially the price caught us off-guard, but the food, wine, and experience was phenomenal. Also, our waiter, Zisis, was incredibly kind and interesting to speak with. We ended up spending almost 5 hours at the restaurant and it certainly didn’t feel this long, as the experience was so engaging. We did the Discovery tasting menu (9 courses) and would highly recommend this to anyone who visits.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was definitely one of the best tasting menus we’ve ever done. The presentation of each course was beautiful. Loved the cocktail pairings.
The best part of the night though was the service. The staff are all on top of things. Chairs pulled out, doors opened, glasses filled, plates cleared. Not once did we have to try to flag someone down for service. That’s a rare experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We made a reservation for 10:15pm. Upon making the reservation, we were never told that it would be too late for the tasting menu so we were a bit disappointed with that. Instead, we ordered the gamberoni and yellowtail for appetizers and sea bream for entrees. We were delighted by the surprises from the chef. Each were very fun and a pleasant surprise. There were a few that came before the appetizers and a few that came when we were done. Now, the reason for the 4 stars is I wasn’t entirely blown away by the main dishes. I’ve eaten at Alma and I’m not sure if these should be compared since Alma has 2 Michelin stars but Lauda’s Emmanuel Renaut has 3 Michelin stars. But every dish at Alma was such a unique experience. The flavor and quality of the food was unbelievable. At Lauda, the food was good but not everything was an “experience”. I just expected a little more in creativity and flavor. And the bread wasn’t even warm which I found to be interesting. The service was great though and we appreciated the roses they gave us.
