Exceptional dinner experience. Positive team coordinated by Chris that dedicates its energy to a full service approach. The venue as well as the view are outstanding and each dish was a well balanced experience. Fine dining that is among the top 3 on Santorini to my mind. Many thanks for a night to remember!

Celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday here! We were in touch since prior to landing in Santorini and they sorted the cake out for him as well. We loved the service and the small touches they provided us while we dined. Their vegan menu was limited given the pandemic and the small amount of visitors. All in all, the food was great but it wasn’t out of this world as the reviews would have led us to believe. I especially loved the gazpacho. We had dinner at our hotel restaurant the next day (Kapari Wine Restaurant) and I have to say, it was the best we had this far. I would still recommend Fly Away as an establishment to try while you’re on the island.

This was hands down the best meal my wife and I have ever had. The view speaks for itself, but my god, the food!! To start, with your meal you get an amazing assortment of homemade foods. Tonight it was the beet root soup, with a tomato based bread with capers and homemade butter, as well as a fried rice ball with dill. All compliments of the Chef! The drink we got was the Sunshine, a lovely concoction by the bartender. Our starter was beef tartare (a first for me!) with a basil oil in the center, which was divine! I had the Lamb, which was melt in your mouth tender, with potato foam! My wife had the Beef, which was cooked to perfection and the sauce on top was such a perfect balance of flavors. The dessert was a chocolate based blessing from heaven, the name of which escapes me but you’ll know it when you see it! And the best part was the staff. Chris and the other staff members are a well oiled machine and it is very clear that they work VERY hard to ensure each person has an amazing time. Chris goes above and beyond, ensuring every couple gets a beautiful photo together with the sunset, going so far as to walk us out and ensure we had a perfect evening. 5 Stars is not enough, they deserve at least 7 and that still is not doing them justice. If you like good food, good people, the sunset, and great drinks, go here. There is simply no other way to put it.

My rating is based on comparing two restaurants we visited in Santorini. Both are just 2 minutes walk away. Vezene and Fly Away. Incredible how on an island, both fine-dining restaurants can be so different. While FLY AWAY deserves a 6*, because of its food, service, comfort, prices and the view, VEZENE only deserves a 3*. In simple words, when comparing these two places, your get half the quality of food for double (sometimes triple) the price! FlyAway: Each dish is a piece of art! Prices are very good for what you get! Service is friendly and comforting (not overacted). The design of the peace and the view is stunning! Best restaurants we have ever been to! Stratos Haitaridis - the Chef - deserves a Michelin star! Christos Ntemirtsanis - is a great guy and deserves all our compliments! This restaurant made our stay amazing! Vezene: The food in Vezene is overpriced. Dishes are more or less standard. where grape leaves are traditionally used, are prepared with cabbage and the waiters say “the leaves are all sold out, so we use cabbage”. There are too many waiters ao it’s funny to see how they run around and double-do the work - seems like a result of poor management.

A spectacular experience, any trip to Santorini should include a dinner here…the best views in town, fantastic & fun food and great service! George is a wine maestro and takes the time to ensure that you have the perfect accompaniment to your meal. An all-round great guy as well! As the name suggests, the food is creative and interesting. It’s also delicious! We unfortunately tucked into our mains before we had a chance to take a picture though. You certainly won’t leave hungry. Thanks to the chef and team for a brilliant evening, we will be back!

Perfect view, perfect service, perfect food. This was the best restaurant we tested in Santorini. Chris and his team did a perfect job. Would go again and I highly recommend it. The meat was perfectly cooked and the cocktails were great.

We arrived very late and didn't have a reservation but the staff were very nice and accommodating. The food was absolutely amazing and although a little pricey was well worth the money. It was a bit cloudy but we did still get a great view

An absolutely superb meal at a stunning location. The restaurant is relatively small, intimately set up, and designed to maximize the incredible views over the caldera. We went for my wife's birthday and had great evening. The food was excellent, fresh ingredients, well prepared, and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable, exceptionally well trained and experienced wait staff made the evening a pleasure. Highly recommended.
