A SCAM WITHOUT PRECEDENT We arrived in Paros and after passing through several motorcycle rental companies, including this place, where they told us that a scooter cost € 25, we decided to rent it again. The next day, the price had risen, they asked us € 30, but they tell us that if we pay in cash, they keep us the price (first track), we also decided to rent the scooter for 2 days, for € 50. We did not know that in return, we had an Italian sling, with the luck of 1980, withdrawn from circulation in that country and re-titled in Greece, which had been given a second life in Loukis (this, obviously, we discovered later) . Before leaving, we are warned that gasoline and oil are half-full. We stop at a service station just after 5 minutes and check both and fill it out. After about 20 minutes of driving, the scooter goes off forever while it is running. Immediately, we called the blonde lady who had treated us and told us to try to turn it on again after 15 minutes. We wait, we try again and nothing, the scooter does not start. We try to call again and the lady tells us to wait 1 hour in the sun, without water and with all the facilities in the closed area. We walk along a road without sidewalks, through which buses and trucks constantly pass and find the first bar after 30 minutes. After almost 2 HOURS waiting since they had told us that they were sending a mechanic, a 16-year-old boy arrives who blames us for not having put oil. Call the lady laughing at us in Greek and leave us her personal scooter. Tired and overwhelmed by everything that happened, we returned to Parikia in just 20 minutes (this is the real time and not 2 hours). We return to the place and request the return of € 50 + money from gasoline and oil + compensation for the damage of the ruined day or a new motorcycle with an extra day, to cover the lost. They respond aggressively that they cannot do anything, that the motorcycle has been broken by us because we did not put the oil and that we relax. We ask for a claim sheet and they refuse to give it to us, telling us to stop bothering, that nothing happened. Enter a friend of the company, Italian, who claims to be a lawyer, and tells us that if we continue to demand the claims book, they could sue us for defamation, refuse to return our money and blame us for breaking the scooter and advises us to forget our rights. In short, a super lawyer! After reporting them to the police, we obtained our € 50. Conclusion: € 5 lost 2. 1 lost holiday day 3. As the lawyer mentioned, also our lost rights.

A SCAM WITHOUT PREVIOUSLY As soon as we arrive in Paros we pass various rental properties including this place, in which we were told that a scooter cost € 25. The next day we returned decided to rent the scooter for 2 days. We pay € 50 and they give us a disused honda in Italy perhaps in 1980, registered in Greece. Before leaving we are warned that the petrol is there but that the oil was half full. We stop at a gas station just after 5 minutes and let's check the oil and fill up. We arrive at a 20 minute walk and the scooter goes off forever while we were going. We immediately call the blonde rental lady and she tells us to try turning it back on after 15 minutes. Let's try and don't turn on. We try again to call and the lady tells us to wait 1 hour in the sun without water and with all the premises in the area closed. The first local half-hour walk in a road only for very dangerous vehicles. After almost 2 HOURS from the contact comes a 16 year old boy who blames us for not having put oil. Call the lady laughing at us in Greek and leave us her personal scooter. We then return to Parikia in just 20 minutes (this is the real time away and not 2 hours). Let's go back to the rental and ask for a refund of 50 € and damages for the ruined day, the money for the petrol just put in and maybe even a replacement motor, at least for the enormous inconvenience. They aggressively reply that we ruined the bike because we didn't put the oil. They refuse to give us a complaint form, telling us to stop bothering us, that nothing happened. A self-styled Italian lawyer, a friend of theirs, tells us that if we had asked for the form they could have sued us for defamation and could refuse to give us back our money, blame us for breaking the bike and forgetting our rights. In short, a lawyer! In the end we left with our € 50, we reported them to the police who at least kindly expose the complaint and warn the tourism agency. Conclusion: 1 a lost vacation day 2 as mentioned by the lawyer, I also lost the rights € 3 of gasoline just lost lost

They cancel my booking, a week before my arrival, blaming the online booking system. OMG!

Dora & Loukis Rentals are the best. She met out by the port and the car was perfect for Paros. I had forgotten my International Drivers Permit in the glove box of a rental on another island and Dora worked with them to not only get a faxed copy in the moment, but also receive it in the mail. The stellar customer service continued when we got a last minute flight and called to ask if we could leave the car at the airport. Dora accommodated us & we definitely needed that extra time at the airport. This is *the place* to go to because her kindness and personality makes all the difference - THAT is why I'm going out of my way to write this review

These guys are simply the best ! They were so nice and welcoming. They helped us a lot with the organization and availability of the car. This is a family business even though Loukis is a franchise.

I rented an ATV here for the night. A few things struck me as odd, one they really wanted me to pay in cash. This is never a good start. Especially when entering a rental contract. Why yes I insist on using my credit card with the rental coverage it carries... The ATV I rented for the night was passable but not what I would consider a quality rental. I paid 25 euro to have an ATV for 12 hours a which sputtered and misfired on deceleration and the brakes on which barely slowed the ATV down when going downhill. The 25 euro for 12h rental of a Kymco 150cc atv is laughably high. It's a 3,000 euro ATV. The next day I paid 50 a day to rent a Polaris RZR 570cc buggy. Which retails for 18,000. Guess which is the better value? In short while they got me an ATV when other rental companies were closed, I would not have rented from them if other options were available. You should look elsewhere first. If you want an ATV, rent a polaris... With all that said, the staff was very pleasant and friendly. I just wish they were not renting out scrap. Finally, clean the helmets. They are gross.
