★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For me it was the best beach (and the only sandy one) on the island. Yes, it is a bit more expensive than the other beaches on the island, but free towels and ice water are included in the fee and also the bar had by far the best offer of drinks and beverages among the other beach bars on the island. It’s not to far form the city with also boat option available from the port.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice sundy beach, just 10 minutes by boat from the port of Hydra. It's usually just 8 euros with return trip. The restaurant is kind of overpriced and it's not offering authentic Greek food. The service staff was extremely helpful and polite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you go to Hydra in Greece, visit Hydra Mandraki Beach. It is the only sandy beach on the island, in a small beautiful cove located 20-30 min. by foot. You can also take the local taxi boat or order a private taxi boat from the beautiful restaurant at the beach. Here they serve elegant Greek food in great settings. For dinner you have to reserve a table. Now they also offer accommodation. The water is shallow crystal clear and the sun-beds very comfortable pricing from €15-25 a day. #greece #hydra #mandrakibeach #hydramandrakibeach #ilovegreece

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice secluded location and the only beach with sand. I loved the style and that everything was clean. Except the toilets. To enjoy you must be willing to pay 25 eur for a sunbed (3 first rows). The cheapest sunbeds are 15 (last row) this is per bed. The prices are around 4,50 for soda/beer/coffee. You can walk there or take a boat for 10eur from the port.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took the walk from Hydra, it’s a beautiful trip if you are moderately active it’s not far and a great view. We came when The beach was still being worked on before the season opened and the owner Arthur was super welcoming and friendly. They let us relax on the ONLY sand beach in hydra. After spending days walking poorly on the rocky shores it was a super calm and relaxing experience. The club sandwich was amazing and great coffee. Will definitely come back and stay on our next trip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited the place several times over the last two years. Pricey but beautiful. The food is top notch and not just by Hydra's standards. Kind suggestion: Place menu at the door so that the hostess avoids off putting welcoming remarks of the sort "Are you aware of the prices?" We are. Yet we insist on returning.
