★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We called in for a late lunch one day and were impressed with the view from the Sunset restaurant. The food that was described to us sounded tasty and we ordered what we thought would be plenty for two of us. We looked out at the view and looked forward to our meal. However when they arrived, the portions were incredibly small and served with a complete lack of grace. The Greek salad probably had two small tomatoes, half a small cucumber, a crumbling of feta cheese and no olives! We were also disappointed with the main vegetarian dish as we had ordered one each and the dish that arrived was barely enough for one and was nothing to write home about! The portion size was not reflected in the cost of the meal either! We have been travelling to Crete for forty five years and whilst we have of course had variable food on occasions, we cannot remember such mean portions and such a complete lack of grace in the serving of our meal. We paid and went somewhere else for some more food! Sorry, but we will not be recommending your restaurant on our website.
