★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was not good and not typical Cretan cuzine. The owner of the tavern was not polite, not friendly, especially aggressive to foreign people. Our experience was awful it almost ruined our stay to this wonderful place in Crete. we do not recommend a visit to that horrible place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think this place deserved more stars than it had when I was writing this review. The food was very tasty even though pretty simple. They have daily specials and just a simple menu in addition to that. The view will make one happy :). Owners are friendly in their own way :). They also offer greek wine that is very good and also cheap.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to eat in Agios Pavlos. Make the climb from the beach up to the cliff, enjoy the vieuw to Triopetra and end up in Taverna Sunset with its excellent homemade Greek food and lokal specialities like fresh fish, meat and amazing deserts!
