Einzig die immer mal wieder viel zu schnell herein kommenden Fähren lassen den Schwell im Hafenbecken gefährlich werden, weshalb man beim Anlegen die maximale Länge der Gangway ausnutzen sollte.
 Mericha is a safe and beautifully located harbor with lots of bars, taverns and small shops. Only the ferries coming in too quickly from time to time make the swell in the harbor basin dangerous, which is why you should use the maximum length of the gangway when mooring.
