Delicious food, very friendly hosts ands interesting art work to look at while you wait! Family business that shouldn’t be missed!! A true gem in Crete, away from the sea front restaurants(which are all very similar) - and a must visit!

Maria and her husband were kind enough to make us dinner when we arrived at our nearby hotel near midnight. The traditional greek meals were all high quality and for great prices. Being vegeterians there were more than enough options. Highlights were the kolokithokeftedes, dakos, rice in wine leaf, home made ravioli, and feta from the oven. Besides the food, there are delicious local wines available. The heavier 'table wine' we had was exquisite and is a must try if available. Foodie worthy, highly recommended if you are in the area.
V	Verena T. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I spent a lovely week on Crete and stayed at Amazona Apartments (same owner), so it was easiest for me to just walk out of my apartment and into Mezedofolia. But it being close was not the only reason I came to eat here almost every night: the restaurant/bar is nicely furnished and you can just feel that a lot of love was put into making this a place where you can feel right at home. Also the owners Maria and Felix add to the charm, they are lovely people that make you feel welcome whenever you show up, Maria is a true artist, her beautiful pictures decorate the whole place and she even has a little gallery in the restaurant. The food is great, it is prepared fresh and you can taste that! The fish is amazing and so is the Moussaka and of course the Meze (Greek Tapas), also do try the Seafood Pasta! I will definitely be back to Agia Pelagia and Mezedofolia! I already miss Maria and Felix!

They are lovely restaurateurs, able to welcome you into their world. It was a pleasure to meet them. Here, we got the chance to taste a multitude of typical recipes and flavors - try it, you will not regret it, guaranteed! Last but not least: Maria is a fine artist who puts passion not only in food but also in painting. In the restaurant, there is an exposition room full of her artworks. They are stunning. In conclusion, come here if you are looking for good food, good people and if you like art affairs.
M	Mas Muniroh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ VERY NICE OWNER! I had a night flight and arrived at my hotel pretty late. I was hungry and looking for food hoping nearby restaurants to my hotel were still opened. I was disappointed that the tavern nearby was closing their kitchen and refused me, so I came here. The owner said that their kitchen already closed, but I told him I was hungry and I could eat just simple bread. He told me he could prepare me a Greek salad, and there you go Greek salad and bread for hungry me. Though I only had that, his nice gesture really touched me. He even said he can't turn away a hungry customer (aww really sweet). Thanks :)
