★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food with amazing people. We had a lot of seafood and especially the mussels and shrimps were so delicious and fresh. The owner Nikolas was very nice as well. So it was the perfect greece restaurant experience with amazing food, good housewine and a lot of fun and good conversations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small taverna close to beach but in distance from tourist rush. Great place for authentic meals and friendly service. Well, all tavernas in Crete are friendly but O Nikolas is a level above. He - Nik - personally is very helpful, he does everything for you to enjoy your meal. This taverna is not overpriced as those located 100 m down on the beach but meals are same or better quality. We ordered saganaki cheese (the best of five others we had across Crete), saganaki shrimps, spaghetti with giant shrimps, fish (forget the kind but recommended by Nikolas), Greek salad and some other starters/meals. All meals had completely different taste like expected on Crete. Absolutely delicious, no meal was avarage. They served water melon, cantaloupe and two kinds of pudding for family of four as digestive. No free tsikoudia served as usual but it was 37°C midday so we did not regret it ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious - so far some of the best seafood I’ve on this trip. We were in a large group of 5 and did not have a reservation (most tables were already reserved) but they were very helpful in making space for us. The customer service was brilliant and it had a wonderful view. Would definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is truly an amazing! the stuff is very friendly, the set up is simple the food is extraordinary! authentic Greek food freshly cooked and over all amazing! If i have to choose & really don't want to :) the eggplant spread is divine, the pickled beetroot and red peppers are perfect! the stuffed zucchini flowers are to dream for! all the seafood dishes, pork chops, lamb chops were perfect but for me it's the spinach risotto for sure! make sure to reserve as the place is packed every night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can strongly recommend to visit this nicest restaurant. Food is delicious as grandma’s. Service is top notch! Stud is polite and hospitable! Location is stunning. We have got very pleasant gift: oranges from their private garden. In this restaurant we felt like we were home… thank you for all that feeling and all the best!
