★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful small village with a small sandy beach inside the harbour. Fantastic for children and good restaurants. Night time is great at the Bar No Name.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sea is quieter next to the harbour wall. Milatos is sweet because it's not been taken over by tourism thanks to its pebble beaches and slighty choppy sea in many places. It feels like its a couple of decades behind - I'm a good way. The main square almost looks like a TV set. If you're self catering shop in Sissi or better stock up at a supermarket before you come. I believe the taverns take cards so no need to touch the expensive ATM. As you head away from the village, the coast and landscape is rugged. Its quite dramatic if the wind is strong. I really enjoyed it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very clean area considering this is a small harbour for predominantly fishing boats. Also has a small man-made beach, with a few sun loungers which are free to use if you use the bar/cafe across the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 'Charming' sums up this little sandy enclave, and I mean tiny. Gets a bit crowded in summer. But people seem not to hog their beach position. A painters paradise, that is if you like a boat scene. Sunlight is crystal clear, sharpening the darkest of colours. Photo of course taken in the depths of winter.
