★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily missed site of Greek-Swedish excavations of house foundations. Definitely worth swinging by as it's well-explained by posters that cover 5,000 years of history from what was found in the area. Exquisite artwork from the Bronze age ti Roman times, graves... Throws light on little-known ancient Cretan life through many different periods. A little free street museum and work in progress...
