★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 22 Αυγουστου παραμονη του μεγαλου πανηγυριού. Η ατμοσφαιρα θυμιζει Πάσχα. Εχει συγκεντρωθεί κόσμος από Ξάνθη , Κομοτηνη και από τα γύρω χωριά.
Γινεται το αδιαχώρητο. Καλά που υπάρχει η αστυνομία και ο κατάλληλα διαμορφωμένος χώρος για παρκινγκ οπότε η ταλαιπωρία των οδηγών είναι η μικρότερη.
Μικροπολιτές, άκουσα 102 θέσεις στο σύνολο, ρούχισμός, γλυκά, καντίνες... ότι μπορείς να φανταστείς.
Και μετά όποιος θέλει συνέχεια, μπορεί να κατευθυνθεί στο χωριό τον Αίγειρο όπου το γλέντι είναι τρικούβερτο. Ζωντανή μουσική, χορός δεκάδες τραπέζια για φαγητό.
