It is a really beautiful monastery, it has been used in the James Bond film “for your eyes only” and you are able to search the wall witch he climbed on. There is also a magical view. Entree costs €3 a person, women have to wear a dress or a skirt under the knees and over the shoulders, men have to wear long trousers and a shirt over the shoulders. It is really worth it to visit.

Lovely place, beautiful views and honestly stunning sanctuary spaces within. The entrance fee is very low (2€ for each adult) and it wasn't too crowded when we visited in August.

Dramatically beautiful setting for a lovely monastery. Spectacular views of the surrounding scenery! The walking path between here and Kalambaka is in good condition and easy to follow.

Perched on a steep and magnificent pillar-like rock, which rises 300 meters above Kalabaka, this monastery was the most impressive one because of how it's situated and the views it has to offer. This monastery was featured in a James Bond 007 film titled “For your eyes only”. Entrance fee: 3 Euro. Amount of steps: 145 steps. MUST-SEE!!!

We visited the Holy Trinity monastery early in the morning before the crowds storm in and enjoyed the fascinating views and its imposing structure. A fair bit of walking required but the nature and views at the end are all so rewarding. Very recommended, if interested to see some of the smaller monasteries of the Meteora complex.

This is one of the smaller monasteries of Meteora but still a gem, especially if you come early in the morning. Most tourists go West to East. If you start in the east at this monastery, you might have it all to yourself. Here, one of the James Bond movies was filmed, and you can see how the baskets were pulled over the gorge. There is a tiny church that is open. The big one was in spring 2022 still under construction.

Beautiful and impressive place to visit while in Kalambaka or driving through the area. The monastery is open on most days of the week - except for Thursdays. The entrance fee is €6 per person - only payable by cash. The staff kindly ask of you not to take any pictures or videos of the inside interior but you can take as many pictures surrounding the monastery as you like - and the views are stunning! A must see place.

Very cool and interesting Place with a great view! It's a 10 minutes walk from the street - many stairs. Not accessible for wheelchairs. Many tourists and travel-groups. Explaining signs are missing.
