Unfortunately we spent only one night in this wonderful hotel, in a lovely suite. The hotel is in a beautiful building in the heart of kolonaki. The services deserve without any doubt five stars. I highly recommend this hotel for the extreme attention to detail, the very comfortable environment, the kindness and support of the owners for any need. The breakfast on the small terrace on the second floor was nice and good. Excellent value for money! Thank you! Annalida e Luca

Monsieur Didot is absolutely stunning. A wonderful hotel in the city centre of Athens, a great location indeed. The staff is friendly, ready to help with everything, embodying the true essence of hospitality. It's obvious that this is a place made with lots of love and care.

We loved absolutely everything about our stay at Monsieur Didot. The rooms are stunningly beautiful and the breakfast in the rooms is such a wonderful detail. The staff was extremely helpful and ensured that everything about our stay was perfect. The location is great, fun neighborhood and walking distance to most things. If you're looking for a hotel in Athens, book Monsieur Didot. You won't regret it!

Be careful before you make a reservation, cause the host doesn't take care of sync the calendars. You may make a booking, get charged and then to be rejected by the host. But your money will be refunded in 2 weeks. This happened to me. The property was available on booking.com (Payment reference: 1091149a-27d1-4873-b6b5-eff4e617496f) but after it was charged, I got the cancellation.. and I never managed to reach the host by phone! be aware

Monsieur Didot - highlight of the trip so far! ?? @monsieur_didot Choosing accommodation while traveling can be super stressful. There are so many options to chose from on booking.com that I usually get super overwhelmed. Since it’s my first time in Athens, I really wanted to feel cozy, at home in the hotel. I ended up choosing a new hotel in Kolonaki (a little bit away from the touristy areas). I have fallen in love with this place! The room we stayed in is called The Anthem. ? You can probably guess what my favorite part of the room is- the plants! ??? There is a zz plant in the bathroom that is GROWING and just gives me so much joy every time I see it. ?The breakfast comes on the CUTEST home-made platter ever. If you pop downstairs to the main entrance, you’ll find the hosts cracking eggs and baking the bread themselves! ?The shower is TO DIE FOR. Boiling hot water in a huge shower head. Yes. Yes. Yes. ☹️ The only downside is the noise at night. We can hear every single creak, laugh and car down on the street. Sleeping was a bit tough but the beds are super comfortable. Athens will only associate with Monsieur Didot for us from now on! I truly believe that if we would stay anywhere else during our visit it would not be the same! This boutique hotel with its beautiful decor and the most amazing, welcome stuff made us feel at home. We stayed in all the rooms there but 1. Each room was perfectly designed, exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. Complimentary breakfast in the mornings was such a nice touch, again made me feel like I was at home eating homemade breakfast. My daughter was turning 3 when we arrived, I asked the stuff to please decorate our suite for us and order a chocolate cake…and when we walked into the room we all were so happy ? Our suite was decorated beautifully, with the most delicious cake. My daughter was happy:) Yanis one of the front desk managers made us feel so at home. He is truly the heart of this amazing place! We were able to get the best restaurant recommendations, taxi arrangements, laundry help, tour guide arrangements. Keep in mind it was 6 of us and everyone was so happy! When we visit Athens, we will only stay in Monsieur Didot! Oh and location is great! Beautiful, safe and clean. Minutes away from all the central attractions and restaurants. Thank you!

The staff here is the best I've ever experienced at a hotel...they are so kind and ready to help you with anything you might need, whether booking a spa experience or helping arrange a ride to the airport. Definitely will come back here next time I'm in Athens!

Great boutique hotel with individually styled rooms and friendly staff. I stayed in three of the six rooms of the hotel during a 10 day stay. Best was the room on the top floor with its own terrace. Whilst there is no lift, it’s manageable. Liked it so much I got the staff chocolate brownies when I left and they gave me a book of Athens themed poetry likewise! Would stay again (May 2021)
