★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a car on the rental website and the next day I got a message that the booking is out of date because the car is unavailable. The next day, the same car was available on the website, so I made a reservation and again got the information that the car was not there. I don't know what this booking site is for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a fine experience renting a car here. I got it really cheap compared to a larger rental company such as Avis. The condition of the car was not top notch, but it should be mentioned that the car is due for replacement next year. They are very open to haggling over the price, so you can probably get a good deal if you rent the car for multiple days. Don't be scared about the lack of formality at this rental company - such are the customs.

Two weeks into the rental period, we decided to change one car (not because the car had a problem, but because our needs had changed). Michalis, the manager, quickly arranged an exchange of cars at a location convenient for us. He also was flexible enough to accommodate various other changes, including the location of the drop-off, adding extra drivers, etc. All of this was done smoothly, efficiently, and without the need to ever drive to a distant office to do things in person. The cars were both new and competitively priced, and included zero-excess insurance. Motorplan puts the big rental companies to shame. For us it has delivered a lesson in great customer service, competitiveness, and reliability. We will definitely use them again. Stefano & Chiara
