Great location, food good but not the best. Friendly service if not a little pushy to get you in the door. A bit expensive but you expect to pay more for a view of the water.

Restaurant not recommended. Two people, we ordered fish recommended by the waiter and two scaled prawns, a bottle of white wine and a coffee. 145€!!! The fish was very tasty but the prawns... very very dry... the wine was tasty but a bottle of wine around 5€ in the market is charged at 27€... I'm sure we won't be coming back.

Not that good experience as the price quality ratio is not there. Reduce prices to improve.

Its a trap for tourists... Workers there talk to you nicely, suggest what to try, says they will add something extra for you, but doesnt say it will cost extra. We were surprized when we got the bill, its was 180 eur... We didnt order anything special and drank simple glasses of white wine. Never going back there again.

I am not one to write a bad review but stay far away from this tourist trap. Overpriced and food was so-so. They make a nice presentation with the seafood but once they reel you in to dine at their restaurant, they start to rip you off. The most expensive and not the best quality/tasty seafood. The fish was dry and the octopus was chewy. A huge disappointment!

€114 total for grilled sea bream for two, bowl of mussels, large prawns (4X) and 2 drinks. The grilled sea bream was big, very tender and meaty, charcoal grilled just right. The mussels and shrimps were plump and fresh. The location and atmosphere is splendid. Right by the water where we could see schools of fish next to our dining table and the ancient harbor as backdrop. Comfortable seating, none of the the trashy eletro-pop music.

Location is exactly in the Venetian port of Rethymno so the prices are automatically high and the quality not so. We ordered a mojito, a glass of white wine, schrimps saganaki (with exactly 3 schrimps on the plate) and also a sea fruits plate, where i specifically told the waiter that i want it without lobster, he heard me and agreed, but when the food arrived, surprise... the lobster was there and we had to pay for that too. 160€ for a 2 person dinner i find it quite too much. No wow effect, except for the bill!

I think they tricked me somehow and it is not good to just make your own price and the customers will discover that after the food. I showed the picture to local, they told me that charges way too much, it‘s more than double, perhaps also triple. As I was ordering, I couldn't decide if I take the squid or octopus. So the waiter showed me like the starter(around 15€) and say, it‘s a bit Kalamaris, a bit octopus and a bit shrimp, at the side some vegetable. I thought it is exactly it. So I ordered. And within I also ordered a glass of white wine and a small sparkling water. In the End the bill came, it wrote like everything in a main menu full portion price and I had to pay everything together around 60€. I agree, that on the habor would be a bit more expensive. But I don't need really that much, I need only half or less of the portion. I think this is the point where the staffs can do better. The guests love your passion about food and so on, but ask for the portion. But not taking the chance to put a full portion and charge more. You guys have a great location, don‘t make it bad. Think twice and read the reviews and get better. The food was o.k. It tastes good but not so wow for me. I think as owner loves sea and seafood, you can definately let your staffs to not do this to customers. I thank you for the time for me which was the worst in Crete. After I spend the lunch there, I just want to lock myself in the room and sleep through. Even the food looks awesome, but that‘s not what I was expected. The Picture, sure, I would make it to remind myself read reviews before going in to a restaurant ?
