m	matina g on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το κτίριο της Τράπεζας της Ελλάδος κατασκευάστηκε την περίοδο 1928-1933, σε σχέδια του αρχιτέκτονα Αριστομένη Βάλβη, για να στεγάσει την Εθνική Τράπεζα. Η αρχική μελέτη άλλαξε λίγο πριν από την έναρξη των εργασιών, γιατί αποφασίστηκε να στεγαστεί στο κτίριο και η Τράπεζα της Ελλάδος, που μόλις είχε ιδρυθεί. Για την κατασκευή του κτιρίου χρησιμοποιήθηκαν πρωτοποριακές για την εποχή εκείνη μέθοδοι και υλικά. Η Εθνική Τράπεζα χρησιμοποιεί το τμήμα του κτιρίου προς την οδό Μητροπόλεως και η Τράπεζα της Ελλάδος το τμήμα προς την Τσιμισκή. Η μορφή του κτιρίου ακολουθεί τα πρότυπα της εποχής με τη δημιουργία ενός ογκώδους κεντρικού κορμού, που στηρίζεται περιμετρικά σε κίονες και πεσσούς, που δεν έχουν πάντοτε λειτουργικό στατικό χαρακτήρα αλλά διακοσμητικό ρόλο. Τα περισσότερα υλικά που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν εισήχθησαν από το εξωτερικό, αλλά τα μάρμαρα ήταν από το Βαθύ της Τήνου. Το κτίριο, όμως, άρχισε να γερνά και να φθείρεται. Οι εργασίες αποκατάστασης περιελάμβαναν σειρά έργων, και σε μερικές περιπτώσεις οι τεχνικοί αναγκάστηκαν να κατασκευάσουν με το χέρι παρόμοια υλικά και μηχανισμούς με τους αρχικούς, καθώς δεν ήταν δυνατό να βρεθούν ίδιοι στην αγορά. Κατασκευάστηκαν επίσης νέο δίκτυο πυρόσβεσης και κλιματισμού, κλειστό κύκλωμα τηλεόρασης και νέα ηλεκτρολογικά δίκτυα, τοποθετήθηκαν σύγχρονα συστήματα εξοικονόμησης ενέργειας, διαχείρισης εγκαταστάσεων και ασφάλειας. The building of the Bank of Greece was built in the period 1928-1933, according to the plans of the architect Aristomeni Valvi, to house the National Bank. The initial study changed shortly before the start of work, because it was decided to house the Bank of Greece, which had just been established. Innovative methods and materials were used for the construction of the building at that time. The National Bank uses the part of the building towards Mitropoleos Street and the Bank of Greece uses the part towards Tsimiski. The shape of the building follows the standards of the time with the creation of a massive central trunk, supported perimetrically by columns and pillars, which do not always have a functional static character but a decorative role. Most of the materials used were imported from abroad, but the marbles were from Vathi of Tinos. The building, however, began to age and deteriorate. The restoration work involved a series of projects, and in some cases technicians were forced to make similar materials and mechanisms by hand as the originals, as they could not be found on the market themselves. A new fire-fighting and air-conditioning network, a closed-circuit television and new electrical networks were also built, and modern energy-saving, facility management and security systems were installed.

Ξέρει κάποιος πώς αλλιώς μπορώ να κλείσω ραντεβού; Κατά τα άλλα όσες φορές πήγα στο συγκεκριμένο κατάστημα έτυχα σε πολύ εξυπηρετικός υπαλλήλους. I put 3 stars because I get a phone call to make an appointment and of course they do not pick it up. Does anyone know how else I can make an appointment? On the other hand, every time I went to this store I came across very helpful employees.

Ωστόσο είναι αδιανόητο εν έτει 2021 να μην υπάρχει ράμπα για ΑΜΕΑ και καροτσάκια με μωρά. Επισκέφθηκα την τράπεζα με το παιδί μου και μου είπαν ότι θα μου ανοίξουν από την πλαϊνή είσοδο. Περίμενα μισή ώρα μέχρι που με βοήθησαν κάποιοι πελάτες της τράπεζας και ανέβασα το καρότσι. Ωστόσο η είσοδος για άνθρωπο με κινητικά προβλήματα είναι τουλάχιστον ανέφικτη. Πολύ μεγάλο μείον για ένα τέτοιο κτήριο. The employees are very helpful and polite. They serve quickly and are willing to help. However, it is inconceivable that in the year 2021 there will be no ramp for the disabled and strollers with babies. I visited the bank with my child and they told me that they would open it for me from the side entrance. I waited half an hour until some customers of the bank helped me and I lifted the cart. However, entry for a person with mobility problems is at least impossible. Too big a minus for such a building.
