★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a small airport with very few flights operating, therefore it is generally fast to get out of the airport. There are local buses waiting right outside, operated by KTEL Volos which take you to Volos in about 30 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small provincial airport. Its location is very convenient for central Greece or for those who travel to Sporades islands (Alonnisos, Skiathos, Skopelos). Very few companies use this airport. Airport traffic is 3-4 flights per day at most. From England there is only easyjet flight from Gatwick every Wednesday and Saturday

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice small airport very convenient to get to Pelion and Volos. Coming out of the plane is fast and easy as there are only a few flights operating. Get a coffee and fly comfortably without the usual delays that big airports hold for you.
