★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This seems to be a well organised airport - small but with good air conditioning, plenty of seating, although never enough, of course. The toilets were clean and well maintained too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Departure: Usual expensive airport. Not great choice of food, burger king, Starbucks, typical cafe place and a shop. Very crowded as a lot of flight delays, poor air conditioning too.
Arrival was easy, passport control efficient enough, although locals directed straight through. Baggage reclaimed very quickly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The airport is a standard Fraport airport and works fine, the staff was very nice!
What I found unacceptable is that there was no water cooler to refill your water bottle or have a drink if thirsty. There were enough signs in the bathroom warning you to not drink the tap water, so I feel a water cooler or two would have been the natural next step for the airport authorities on that part!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad experience. Long waiting time for security check. (about half hour) Although there are hundreds of passengers are waiting, they opened only 2 check points, and one of them is only for family with children! That means, only one check point for so many waiting passengers! Unbelievable!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Make sure you have plenty of charge on your phone before arriving !!!
The airport wasn't too busy when I arrived but there were so many people struggling to charge there phones, mainly because in the main terminal there are very few usable plug sockets. The airport has installed 2 LG phone charging points that was overwhelmed by those looking for some charge, although it seems like there's plenty of charging options, many of the outlets (on the 2 racks in the picture) didn't seem to work, plus you run the risk of losing a phone !!
The airport is easily accessible to and from Corfu Town centre using the No 15 bus (the stop is opposite the taxi rank, turn left as you exit the airport), costs around €1.50 p/p and the journey takes approximately 20 minutes. The service seems to be quite regular ( if not necessarily punctual ! ) during normal hours.
There's definitely a lack of flight information screens, and the few they have could do with being bigger !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros - Basic infrastructure available, nice cafes and even a duty free open early in the morning.
Cons - It's hard to find a place to the phone and staff is extremely stressed and impolite, one of my worst airport experience in this sense.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small airport. There had been rumours of long queues but no problems when we travelled during the last week of May 2022. There's a Burger King and 4 other food shops together with a duty free. All in one large room. No shops before check-in.

TSA ...learn a lesson.
Coffee and food available at 4 AM..Wow

Duty Free open inside boarding area at 4 AM! N
CLEAN
Starbucks available in boarding area but not open early
Final take......it's an airport but a good one.
Top 10 percent of airports I've flown out of ....and I fly a lot!!!!!
