The Monastery of Zoodochou Pigi is a natural border of the island with the imposing mountain of Kalamos. It was built on the ruins of the ancient temple of Apollo. From here begins the path to the old monastery of Panagia Kalamiotissa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Δεν μπηκα στην εκκλησια γιατι πηγα περισσότερο για τον αρχαίολογικο χωρο,ο οποίος είναι πολύ ενδιαφέρον και αξιολογος.Η μοναχές πολυ φιλοξενες και εγκάρδιες.Η θεα υπέροχη.
I did not enter the church because I went more for the archeological site, which is very interesting and remarkable. The nuns are very hospitable and cordial. The view is wonderful.
